Brinkley: More Kerry-Fonda Photos May Surface
Newsmax ^ | 2/10/04

Presidential historian Douglas Brinkley hinted Monday that more photos of Democratic presidential front-runner John Kerry protesting the Vietnam War with "Hanoi" Jane Fonda may yet emerge.

Asked if there were "photos" of Kerry and Fonda protesting together, Brinkley answered in the plural, telling "Radio Factor" host Bill O'Reilly, "I think there are. They probably will come out this year."

While researching his recent book on Kerry's war years, "Tour of Duty," Brinkley said he came across several references to the Kerry-Fonda alliance.

"I've seen their names in a University of Wisconsin archive on [Kerry's group, the Vietnam Veterans Against the War]. Their names are on the same mimeograph sheets, where you can see them as principle speakers together."

But Brinkley said that while researching his book, he had not come across the single Kerry-Fonda photo to emerge so far.

Published by NewsMax.com on Monday, it shows the leading Democrat sitting near Fonda at a Sept. 1970 Valley Forge anti-war rally.

But in his book the Kerry biographer notes that there were "scores" of old newspaper accounts documenting the Valley Forge event, where Fonda called the Nixon administration "cold-blooded killers" and Kerry said that veterans had a special right to protest the war.

So HLL does a little poking around and she comes up with it at corbis.com but this historian could find one?

I think the pictures we already have are pretty strong. They clearly show Kerry as a hippie war protestor among bunches of Communist peaceniks. The pictures are important, because they clearly show how things were. Otherwise, Kerry can rationalize it and say, "Well, I served in Vietnam and won medals for bravery and three Purple Hearts, so I had a right to protest the way the politicians were handling the war."

Put it that way, and people will think it sounds OK. Look at the pictures, and those same people will think again. The pictures give the lie to the spinners and revisionists.

Heheheh. You just reminded me of an old alias I used to use: "Fonda Peters."

There are bound to be lots of nonprofessional pics of them too.
Lots of people who were in those protests took pictures.
Many still have them tucked away in a scrapbook.
Some of them are now Republicans.

Now if someone like Rush will only be encouraged to search.

I think John Kerry needs a new rich widow to marry.

I've heard Jane's available.

Not sure this really matters, since people that want to vote for Kerry probably like Jane Fonda anyway.

Well, according to Hanoi Kerry, a person isn't qualified to be president unless he/she has been in a war and shot at. Therefore, Bush's National Guard service doesn't count.
At least that leaves us with a future political advantage. Hillary was not in Vietnam. Hell, she wasn't even in the National Guard. She wasn't even in the Girl Scouts! According to todays Democrats (the party of flip flop), Hillary will never be supported by the left wing politicians in 2008 for the presidency. According to her own party, she's not qualified.

OK people now is the time to do some opposition research and get out your old LIFE and TIME's, Ramparts, Rolling Stones and find pics of the dynamic duo.

so I had a right to protest the way the politicians were handling the war.

Of course BUT that is NOT what he did. Calling Vietnam Vets, "RAPISTS", Murderers, and accusing us of poinsening their cattle and their water and committing every war crime imaginable, is pathetic and he can kiss MA.

The only reason these pictures are not being more public is that there seems to be a hesitation by the news media, only to see if they are legitimate or "doctored" photos.

"Hillary was not in Vietnam. Hell, she wasn't even in the National Guard. She wasn't even in the Girl Scouts!"

I heard that she was once a Scout, but got kicked out for eating a Brownie.

Ignoring the fact that it was the other JFK's war and a certain other president, LBJ's war!

Ah Kerry, you hardly know the truth!

The one already out is a little disappointing. Kerry is sitting a couple of rows behind Hanoi Jane. We need photos of them TOGETHER (hopefully in lip-lock mode).
