It looks like releasing the rest of the records just might clear up the training days issue, making me admittedly quite wrong.

If the records exonerate him, that leaves only questions on one issue outstanding: why was there no standard investigation for a pilot losing his flight status? Why didn't Bush take the physical?

This has been explained hundreds on times. If you would do a Google on it, you'd see that it was standard procedure for people who were on their way out to just skip the bother of a physical.

It was very unlikely that Bush would ever fly again at that point for a number of reasons, not the least of which being that they were getting new planes and would not waste the money on training him, since he was slated to leave shortly.

I lost my flight status because I was in the hospital with strep throat when the physical came up. They rescheduled me After I went home on leave and didn't reschedule me for a year after. What standard investigation are you braying about? He lost his status and his pay. So what?

This has been addressed several times, just like the false service record accusations.

Because they were updating to a different type of plane, Bush was about to be discharged and it's not worth the money to train a pilot on a differnet type of plane if he's not going to be there to do more than train in it.
