[history]
President Bush received credit for attending Air National Guard drills in the fall of 1972 and spring of 1973 -- a period when his commanders have said he did not appear for duty at bases in Montgomery, Ala., and Houston -- according to two new documents obtained by the Globe.

Not to mention the anal exam they (and family members) would receive from the press. They aren't busy looking into Kerry's past, so they have plenty of time.....

Are you hearing this reporter about Kerry and Fonda

#186 just called the vast majority of Americans 'weenies.'

I think that was Moran. He tried to justify their rabidity by saying "Well, if Kerry's activities will under scrutiny..."
McClellan was great. He smiled and said "Now you're trying to draw us into a partisan fight", though he correctly points out again and again that this issue was raised by dems and was raised in a twisted way.
I say again: The reporters are nailing down the dates on the records should match exactly when he was there, so off they're going to go to try and find a "lie".
Now a reporter "the voters may find out that this president may have avoided Vietnam, yet sent soldiers over". McClellan is sorry she chose to phrase her question that way. He agrees the American people should have the facts. It's that April that's asking.

The honorable service of no veteran should be called into question, purely for political purpose or because one disagrees with the affiliation of that politician.
It is Kerry who has made his military record the centerpiece of his campaign. He is pushing it down our throat almost every time he speaks. He invites an examination of his war record. It raises many questions for Vietnam veterans like myself and I want them answered. I don't agree that his war record should be out of bounds given the fact that Kerry touts his war record as a major reason why he should be President. Kerry is attacking GWB's national guard service. Let's put Kerry on the defensive.

Hey, maybe you should chill out. Plenty of people didn't go to Vietnam who weren't "rich." My husband is one of them: he was in the Coast Guard. He served, and he served well. Many in the Army, Marines, Air Force and Navy did not go to Vietnam. Denigrating their service--or those who served in the NG--is despicable. A lot of NG blood has been spilled in Iraq and Afghanistan--among other places. Get off your highhorse.

Mailing Chrissy the article will do no good. He will say it's all a fabication anyway.

They are like a pack of rabid hyenas!
It is so out of proportion to the issue and the documentation.
They stand stark naked in all their partisan ugliness.
They are absolutely hateful.
New subject from Wendell Goler. He wants to know about testimony regarding the "outing" of Valerie Plame. McClellan testified before a grand jury, in case some didn't hear.

Plenty of people didn't go to Vietnam who weren't "rich." That's fine... I just think our elite class (dems or cons) should be expected to lead by example in this new, and dangerous world.

The only thing that the Democrats' target audience knows about the military is what they saw in the movies. They'll believe anything Terry McAuliffe tells them.
Those folks outside the police station in Iskandariyah this morning who rioted when the rumor spread that the station was hit by a US missile are no doubt future democrats...
To: cyncooper
Wasn't that the most disgraceful display from the press you have seen in a long time?
They are in full meltdown mode, just like the Rats.
I've never seen such rapid hyenas.

"No explanation has been offered for how the document was torn or why an undamaged copy was not available in 2000."Because nobody remembers how it got damaged and it was damaged prior to 2000. Duh.
This isn't going to go away people. This is the Rockefellar memo at work.

I've had it with these POS ! JJJEEEEEEEZZZZZ !!!! Time to stop feeding the frenzy with; "OK you got your friggin' information. THAT IS ALL."
America does not think W avoided service and the media proceeds at their own peril. To address it any further just adds credence.

I agree with you. I don't think I've EVER been so frustrated with the press.
Going to ignore them for the rest of the day. There IS a life outside politics.
