I was listening to Hannity a few weeks ago, and he got this angry liberal who was a retired teacher. This guy was blasting conservatives, calling the President a Hitler, and raging about tax cuts.
Hannity then tore into the guy, telling him something along the lines of, "You spent your entire professional life getting a government paycheck, so how can you know what it's like to have to live in the real world of competition and personal initiative?"
Within the next few years, we're going to see the leftovers of the 60s radicals who took over academia begin to retire. I say put 'em in a nice "nursing commune" where they can't cause any more trouble.
I'm a member of the baby boom generation, the most self-absorbed, selfish, consumerist generation in history. I like to think of my generation as an emerging bolus about to hit the ground. The nation will breathe a sigh of relief and move on.
