There's just no competing with Ryan's million-watt smile.
Or his chiseled good looks.
Or his toned body.
Easy there, Stacy St. Clair!

I saw all of the Illinois Republican candidates in a debate a couple weeks ago, and this article is true. Ryan just has that look to him. He has a very charming personality, and he does look like a movie star. I hope he gets the nomination, I think he has the best chance to win (not because of his looks, however).

Reading the article, you can almost hear Stacy ovulating...

. . . no one with facial hair has won the White House since newspapers began publishing pictures in 1903. Not so:

Let me get this straight: These guys are all Republican candidates seeking the nomination for a U.S. Senate seat being vacated by Peter Fitzgerald (R).
Anyone know who the good guys are among these Pubs and who's the likely Rat opponent? And what are the chances ? - seems's like a Dem state.

Reading a few threads here from last summer about Ryan, there were those who were hinting the guy is gay (divorced, hadn't remarried, kinda danced around gay issues questions), Is that still going on? Or has it become a non-issue?

I'm confused...
Isn't Jack Ryan a history professor turned CIA analyst turned President of the United States?

How old is this Ryan? Won't voters confuse him with the other two failed Ryans of IL politics? one of them, George Ryan, was really, really obnoxious. He made CT's Lowell Weicker, Jr., seem "nice" by comparison.
