I'm not sure whether they are helpmates or not. Hillary may hate having another woman sharing power. It's hard to tell. For all I know, Hillary may have been instrumental in helping set this up to muddy Pelosi. And then again, may not.

I doubt Hillary set this up. She needs California and might need Pelosi to run as her VP because the only male VP candidate I can see kissing her butt is Clark.
