Not exactly sure who funded the Winter Soldeir Hearings. However, from STOLEN VALOR by Burkett/Whitley-the major organizers were Fonda,Jane, Dick Gregory, Phl Ochs, Graham Nash, David Crosby and actor David Sutherland. Lawyer/activist Mark Lane was also one of the organizers.

Perhaps the KGB helped fund this smear-campaign against VN vets?
