Geraldo just announced on Rita Cosby's show that he is going back to Iraq.
Not only that, he announced that he's going to be driving straight through the country.
Starting in Kuwait, and driving all the way up until he gets into Turkey.
He brought a map up on the screen and showed the cities that he would visit, the highways he would use, and the times he would be there.
Is he asking for it? Whats wrong with this guy? Should he take Rita with him?

All of Geraldo's life he has lived on the edge, and he was The major suck-up to Bill Clinton.Really!? I think you're exagerating just a tad...don't you? OK...maybe not.
"Mr. President, we love you. I want to hug you, I want to hug you, please do the right thing. This is nothing, this is nothing. Thomas Jefferson did not have this in mind, I swear to God....I would give Ken Starr the Nobel Peace Prize were he to be man enough not to refer a sex lie to the House for impeachment. Well be right back, stay tuned folks"
-- Geraldo Rivera urging Clinton not to cooperate, August 6, 1998 edition of Rivera Live on CNBC.

Hmmm, if he did do that, I don't think he'll be escorted for long... We don't like to say where we're going!!

He's not a bad War Correspondent.
I agree. Another thing that I like is that a lot of his foreign correspondent work has the feel of a travelogue, giving you glimpes of the every day culture of ordinary people. For me, once you've seen one of Saddam's palaces, you've seen them all. I'm more interested in seeing chickens scoot across a courtyard & learning what is growing in the garden.

Yeah, he's not a war correspondent at all. His stories are all about Geraldo. Here's were Geraldo slept. Here's were Geraldo ate. Here's where Geraldo unflinchingly faced mortal danger.

An oldie but a goodie!

Excellent research. My hat is off. On that same show and on many others, he showed me in stock footage and always reminded his viewers to wait and see what evil had been done by the vast right wing conspiracy.

Should he take Rita with him? That sounds like a good idea. Geraldo & Rita are the worst things about Fox News, IMO...they turn the weekends into National Enquirer TV.
I generally change the channel when either of them comes on.

I saw that! They kicked he out, then he tried hooking up with other units, no one wanted him. He was then sent back to Afghanstan.
To: ConservativeMan55
There just MUST be a whole lotta secret hidden vaults in Iraq. Remember all the pre-war talk of an elaborate tunnel system underneath Baghdad? Hey, what the hey, Geraldo is entertaining if nothing else.
To: Indy Pendance
He should have to stay in Afghanastan until he produces OBL. That should be his assignment.
