Bush Record..
Bush, "The Worst President", Stacks Up Very Well The following appeared in the Durham, NC local paper as a letter to the editor.
Liberals claim President Bush shouldn't have started this war. They complain about his prosecution of it. One liberal recently claimed Bush was the worst president in U.S. history.
Let's clear up one point: We didn't start the war on terror. Try to remember, it was started by terrorists on 9/11.
Let's look at the "worst" president and mismanagement claims.
FDR led us into World War II. Germany never attacked us: Japan did. From 1941-1945, 450,000 lives were lost, an average of 112,500 per year.
Truman finished that war and started one in Korea, North Korea never attacked us. From 1950-1953, 55,000 lives were lost, an average of 18,333 per year.
John F. Kennedy started the Vietnam conflict in 1962. Vietnam never attacked us. Johnson turned Vietnam into a quagmire. From 1965-1975,58,000 lives were lost, an average of 5,800 per year.
Clinton went to war in Bosnia without UN or French consent, Bosnia never attacked us. He was offered Osama bin Laden's head on a platter three times by Sudan and did nothing. Osama has attacked us on multiple occasions.
In the two years since terrorists attacked us, President Bush has liberated two countries, crushed the Taliban, crippled al-Qaida, put nuclear inspectors in Lybia, Iran and North Korea without firing a shot, and captured a terrorist who slaughtered 300,000 of his own people. We lost 600 soldiers. Bush did all this abroad while not allowing another terrorist attack at home. Worst president in history? Come on!

Well worth considering what with the pro-communist John "F-ing" Kerry looking like Bush's opponent come November.

Anybody that's accomplished all that ought to be impeached! (off extreme sarcasm)

The biggest problem for the GOP is to counter the Rats lies. They're all over the TV spewing lies and false info and the GOP isn't countering them with FACTS !

I had this very conservation with my liberal mother. It is sooo much fun to shut her down with the facts. She was bi!chin about Bush and comparing the war on terror with Vietnam.
I just quietly asked who got us started in Vietnam, she couldn't (or wouldn't) answer me. I informed her that JFK did. The look on her face was priceless, she looked like I had slapped her. I then asked her who got us out of Vietnam, she didn't like that answer either. Oh well, facts are a bitter pill for the Dem/Lib to swallow.

- German/Italy declared war on the U.S. first.
- Truman got the U.S. involved in Vietnam first.

The revised DoD figures for the Korean War are 36,916 U.S. dead (including 33,667 battle deaths)...which works out to about 12,000 per year of open warfare.

Absolutely worth sharing .. anytime somebody with a brain can make that kind of analysis .. that's worth sharing. I wonder how many people will now think twice when they hear a democrat call the President the "worst ever".

The author left out WWI which was started by Wilson and the Germans never attacked us.
Then the Cold War started by Truman and finally ended by Ronald Reagan.
The the War on Poverty started by LBJ and we are still wasting billions per year on that quagmire.
