During WWII, General James(at the time a Lieutenant(Lt.), trained young African-American Pilots at Tuskeegee. He was training as a Bomber Pilot when WWII ended. As a Captain, General James flew F-86F's during the Korean War from Suwon AB. During the late 50's as a Major, General James Commanded an F-94C StarFire Squadron in New England thus paving the way for his subsequent Command of NORAD/ADCOM. In Viet Nam, General James flew F-4C's and D's and was responsible in large part for the planning of "Operation Bolo", which succeeded in a number of NVA Migs being destroyed. Upon President Fords recommendation, General James became Commander in Chief, NORAD/ADCOM (North American Aerospace Dafense Command/ Aerospace Defense Command. He then flew NORAD/ADCOM's Finest Interceptor, The F-106A/B. He successfully fought for most of the F-106's modifications that kept it a First Rate Interceptor at that time. Congress still hedged and did not provide some of the modifications that would have kept it a First Rate Interceptor even today(Improved Look Down Shoot Down Radar, AIM-9L capability, etc.). But that's another story.

...it took place in the Oval Office....the place klintoon disgraced with Monica.

I've read that President Reagan had so much respect for the Oval Office that he wouldn't even go in there unless he was in a suit and tie.

I've said it before, but: I find it refreshing that we now have a president who respects the office, too! I believe President George W. Bush appreciates the significance of his responsibility to our country.

Fox News showed a picture of Kerry taken the day before the supposed botox "after" picture. That picture showed Kerry when he got to the Fox Network too late to put on makeup before his appearance. The lines were still there. So,...

Evidently, Preparation H must be a part of Kerry's makeup routine. (Appropriate for a butthead, don't you think?) ;)

RE: Respect in the White House--I read that one time President Bush was watching a movie in the theater in the WH and he needed something from the Oval Office. He'd been gone a half hour or so and a friend who was asking wondered out loud what was taking so long. An aide or someone replied that President Bush had gone back to the residence to change into a suit and tie before he went to pick up the paper or whatever he needed. THAT'S respect.
