The president intends to run a positive campaign, and that is admirable, but I think Kerry's voting record and his own words should be used AGAINST him. I'm not sure the president will do that however.

Kerry should be asked to name one thing that he has done since 1970 that would give us confidence that the defense of this country is his primary goal.

Freepers would ask Kerry that question but we know the press won't.

"Kerry should be asked to name one thing that he has done since 1970 that would give us confidence that the defense of this country is his primary goal."

Precisely. He simply blathers on ad nauseum about his past "service" in Vietnam. He would do well to listen to Jesus: "After you have done everything you are commanded to do, say to yourselves 'We are unworthy servants. We have only done our duty.'"

All Kerry has to offer is a promise to "do better" than Bush. He seeks credibility as a True Soldier from his stint in an unpopular war which he, upon returning (natch for blowhards like him!), protested.

Not much to offer when contrasted with Bush who has DEMONSTRATED IN THE HERE AND NOW the ability to govern and BE Commander-in-Chief.

Kerry is a bad pony.
