Are you one of the few who still consider GWB a staunch conservative? There is more to conservatism than sitting around wringing the hands about abortion.

I think (hope?) the interview went well. Otherwise, there would have been "leaked" sound bites harmful to the President all over the media by now.I turned on Chris Matthews last night after he evidently had just shown clips. Ron Reagan Jr. said Kerry has gravitas and Bush does not----based on this interview!
FWIW (which ain't much considering the source I cited.) And can you believe "gravitas" has been hauled out again? I'm thinking Ron floated the word to see if it works. I can't imagine after the resolve this president has displayed in the wake of all that has happened during his tenure, they can go back to the 2000 "he lacks gravitas" bs.

Ron Jr. defined "gravitas"? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
To: dwilli
Just out of curiousity, how would you classify Clinton? Was he on the left?
To: cyncooper
Does anyone else think Russert's looking a little more and more like Fred Flintstone lately?
To: William McKinley
I can answer for him:

Bush is a politician, nothing more. Bill Clinton at heart was more of a conservative.

Thanks. Those negative polls are making me antsy. I'm ready for some polls showing the majority of the citizens of this country recognize the awesome reality of Pres. Bush's and his administration's accomplishments.
To: cyncooper
Somehow the picture of Ron Jr. defining gravitas is the funniest thing I've heard all year.

Last night on a special edition of Chrissy Matthews "Hardball". They showed a large picture of John Kerry and President Bush side by side, stating the polls. Anyway, the one of Kerry was good, for him, and the one they used for Presdident Bush was terrible.
His panel consisted of 5 dems and 1 republican. Ron Reagan (son) hates President Bush.
