IMO he should have used past tense..."was" not "is". "Was" we have accomplished something; "is" we have not.
To: The Wizard
But surely Brit will be on the panel as he usually is and he's the one who has the penetrating questions imo.
To: Carolinamom
I want to hear Brit Hume pin Edwards to the wall about his 2 Americas claim and how it is devisive class warfare instead of the so-called optimism Edwards spouts.Tell us if he does. I just can't bear to watch any of the democrat hopefuls.

Other than the same as always Saddam was a evil man and needed to be deposed, He gave no reply.
I'm not being critical, I don't know how to answer the question and make parents of the dead feel any better.
He just went to his White House notebook and gave the
consensus reply.
What did you perceive he said that could be considered an answer?

Considering the last census articulated that the "poor" as we think of them are disappearing, I'm surprised Edwards has chosen this tactic.
Several articles written using census #'s have shown the nation's income rising, fewer poor, more Americans than ever before own their own homes, cars, air conditioning, television, cable, etc.
I'm watching the president and I think Edwards comes on with Brit at the same time so I'll have to read your comments later.

You may not wish to be critical but nearly every post you have made about President Bush in the last month at least HAS been critical.
I WILL NOT ruin the integrity of this thread, but to let others know what we're dealing with when it comes to your comments, I am posting a doozy you made:

Bush is a politician, nothing more. Bill Clinton at heart was more of a conservative.

Do both. It doesn't air here until 8am (10 am EST) but I wanted to see Freeper comments first. Then we can verify for ourselves just how excellent Freeper transcription and perception is, and correct the record *if need be*.

George will makes a great comment in yesterday/today's column about W regarding the proper choise of words.
He wishes W had said "we believe" instead of "we know" re: WMD. Will Rogers said using the right word vs. the "almost" right word can be similar to being hit by lightning vs. hit by a lightning bug. LOL
