Morons make up about 80% of the rat base. Perverts, communists, and trial lawyers account for the rest.
Aren't communists technically part of the 80% moron base?

As he should be as all politicians should be, they take money from us they don't earn and spend it in ways that a reprehensible to us, so they are non-convicted felons.
That is the nicest thing I can say about them.

Re your post #592 - LOL....I caught that, too.
Well, it's over. GW did very well. The only point I fault him on is that he does not do this often enough. I think he comes off better than he knows.

GW, we WERE welcomed in Iraq. The tone of your question implies we werent'.
not surprised by level of resistance--because freedom & democracy represents a threat to their ability to use WMDs & terror.
Let me finish... the Iraqis are nervous because they're uncertain what their gov't will look like... when we see the debate and discussion in Iraq, that's a good thing.
They are not going to choose an extremist... I sat down with Iraqis... they want a constitution written that recognizes minority rights.
There was one man who'd lost 67 people to SH... He said, this is going to be a free society, people will be able to worship freely.
TR: quoting GW: "I don't think our troops will be used for nation bulding."
GW: WE're fighting a war against terrorists and disgruntled Baathists... they don't want the new society to spring up. If I might, people say to me, how to secure America not only in the short term, but in the long term--more freedom, to encourage democracy.
The long term vision and hope is that a free Iraq will help change the Middle East. I believe so strongly that freedom is etched in everybody's heart.

LOL--GW just said the UN is not going to spend OUR money, the money the Congress appropriated for Iraq rebuilding.
Good one! :)

Exactly...Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary....Rummy's "new Europe"...they love us because we helped them throw off the chains of Communism. The rest have forgotten how close they came to being dominated by the Nazis, were it not for us.

TR: "Are you going to allow the UN to play a central role in Iraq".
POTUS: The UN will not get to spend US money. They will, however, play a vital role.

Just ended here. I agree, finished on a high, positive note.
He asks President Bush why he is hated, President Bush points out he never speaks ill of anyone (and he doesn't--publicly), and Russert pulls out that smarmy Kerry quote about Bush that is just snotty, and to me it showed who the hateful one is.
To: prairiebreeze
He did wonderfully! He was strong and made his point. Have I mentioned that I love my president?

***Love that comment that the Congress had the "same information" he had... very important this will be in the campaign. It will force Kerry, who had "the same information" to either admit he agrees with the President, or that he's a liar or a fool****
Or confuuuuused by those Wascally Wepublicans!
