Time for bed. God Bless all our troops, their families, our veterans and our Israeli, British, Australian, Polish, and Italian allies. We pray for your safe and soon return. Thank you for doing the jobs you do to keep this UNITED STATES OF AMERICA safe. We love you all.

Thank you to all who enter the Canteen. Salute!

A PRAYER OF PROTECTION

The light of God surround you
The love of God enfold you
The power of God protect you
The presence of God watch over you
Wherever you are, God is,
And all is well.
Amen.

Yes, you can tour the ship. In the winter they have a huge cover on her, but you can go underneath the cover. I am bit claustrophobic, so I don't usually want to stay under the tarp for too long.

There is a cute little museum, with some hand on stuff for the kids , where the ship is docked. It is nice.

If you ever get a chance to go to a Tall ships festival it is so fun. They usually travel to different ports every two or three years. But they are all over the country.

I looked for a link, but I think this is an off year for Michigan, so I couldn't find anything updated. I don't know about the rest of the country.

You can see the ships sail in and out , they post a schedule, and then tour most of the ships when they are docked.

It is worth the wait and trip if you can find one near you, or fun thing to do when you are visiting other people.

Kathy, we got to leave early on Sunday. WO HO.. The 1SG said if anyone was here after 1500, it would be our own fault. We left at 1430, so I am late replying. Had a great drill. Thanks for your support.
