Delphinium's sources are not sound, imo. And I think she tends to exaggerate And this whole conspiracy theory about the wildlands project is pure paranoia, in my view. In fact, I suspect it is just an extravagant excuse to slaughter wolves, bears, cougars, coyotes etc.

hmmm, thanks for the links, I'll have to think about the info they contained. Things are never simple, I certainly do not want to see westerns lose the west to wolves! I thought wolves were being reintroduced into the national parks and if they wandered out of a restricted protected range and killed they were either killed or returned, just like bears. Were that the case then a few good dogs could protect live stock against attack. Reintroducing wolves into areas that are used as ranges for live stock or farming or human habitation is not a good idea. Wilderness areas OK, areas used by humans and their domestic animals, no.
