THE ISSUE: CBS's decision to ban Janet Jackson from Sunday night's Grammys.
I'm so glad that CBS is giving Janet Jackson the boot from the Grammys ("Grammys Boot Janet - Shamed CBS Execs Can't Bare to Put Her on Again," Feb. 5). She certainly hasn't done her brother any good with her disgusting actions. I think the whole Jackson family has some screws loose - particularly that Jacko nut. That Justin Timberlake is also a joke. Does he actually think anyone believes that he didn't know what would happen at the halftime show? Ruth Lindemann Colorado Springs, Colo.

Betcha Hollywhacked liberals are sitting around, sipping Cristal, cluck-clucking that their "precious rights" are being infringed.
Hollyweirdos again demonstrate their utter contempt for middle-class values.
The fact is their "precious right" to engage in offensive behavior stops where the eyes of America's children begin.
Hollywarped denizens stoop to depraved performances in order to hype their sorry careers.......but it is at our expense.
We, the people, are expected to let the Hollywarped crowd corrupt our culture and scandalize the children so that they can profit.
Better think again, Follywood.

Liz, I saw the funniest report on Channel 11 last night. They had an interview with the designers of Janet's bustier, which she had purchased from their shop here. It looked like a high-end S & M boutique. Anyway, these girls were mightily offended that the whole event was being referred to as a "wardrobe malfunction", and they insisted that the bustier had been altered after it left their shop. Specifically, when they designed and made the bustier, there were no snaps in the bra cups.
They just wanted to tell the world that they made a quality product that didn't "malfunction". (And they wanted some press, too, but why shouldn't they)
I so wanted to post that here, but the article wasn't on WPIX's website when I checked, and I couldn't find anything on a search.

With each pasing a day, another author, actor, sports figure, or musician says or does something that renders them moot in my book. Liberal Hollyweirdos, just dont see the damage they are doing to themselves, or to the country. But I think people are starting to wake up. A connection can be drawn from our spiraling downward morality and 9-11. There was a time when people took what la-la land said as Gospel. Not anymore it seems..

You should have seen the clueless J.C. Chasez (former NSYNCer) on CNN yesterday having himself a pity party with the help of the CNN anchor. This kid was bemoaning his being dumped from the Pro Bowl by the NFL. He wasn't dissing the NFL really, just viewers who were all upset over nothing really, who were impinging on his artistic freedom (he has a right to get paid you see, not just produce). The CNN chick who was interviewing him was ever so sympathetic. Talk about the blind leading the blind.

Thanks for the "inside the bustier" info (snicker).
Of course, the whole thing was staged. I didn't watch the Super Bowl but I saw the halftime vidoes repeated over and over.....and it was clear Dumberlake calculatedly pulled off Jackass' leather cover to expose her boob. This brainless jerk Dimmerlake actually claimed he didn't know what had happened.
It's infuriating---and a plusperfect example of Hollywarped's contempt for our values and for America's innocent children---that Hollyweirdos actually thought we'd believe the stunt wasn't planned.

Someone said Drudge (I can't get into his Web site) say Jackson is back at Grammy's?

You should have seen the clueless J.C. Chasez....on CNN ....having himself a pity party with the help of the CNN anchor. Bad enough, but MSNBC's Pat O'Brien made a complete a** of himself. A FReeper posted this tidbit.
O'Brien of "Access Hollywood" on MSNBC commented on comments he captured from Timberlake right after the NFL Boob Peel, when he caught Timberlake smirking how the two artists just wanted to give people "something to talk about."
Flash forward: The young dimwit Timberblank realizes he's in trouble and on the spot he invented "wardrobe malfunctions" and "red bustiers underneath."
O'Brien had an explanation for MSNBC. O'Brien claims he shows Timberlake is not a liar, but is telling the truth. Are you ready? Pat O'Brien stated on MSNBC that he thinks Justin Timberlake DID NOT REALIZE JANET JACKSON WAS STANDING THERE WITH HER BREAST EXPOSED! Yes, dear children. Pat O'Brien thinks the idiot Timberlake's inane comment "something to talk about" referred merely to the generally risqué theme of the performance (as if that makes a difference), and that O'Brien does not think Timberlake would lie.
O'Brien actually thinks? O'Brien says he thinks Timberlake realized sometime later after people told him and he saw a tape of the performance what had happened. Rarely have we seen such idiocy-on-parade via O'Brien's craven celebrity suck-up. Usually it's a bit more subtle. O'Brien is easily the biggest celebrity sycophant out there.
My response is that audiences don't like to be used, to be manipulated by depraved career-obsessed entertainers with CD's to sell, who expose themselves on primetime to hype their sorry careers......and then lie about it. This is not about "exposing just one breast." It's the co-opting of audiences for personal profit as Jackson and Timberlake did.
Obsessed, success-driven entertainers are so depraved, they would do anything to boost their careers. If Jackass and Dumberlake thought fornicating a dog at half time would sell CDs, they'd do it in a nanosecond. If CNN, O'Brien and the rest of the brain-dead libs continue to defend Jackass and Timberlake's lies, we should notify the FCC.

"....cluck-clucking that their "precious rights" are being infringed...." I wonder whether we will be treated to jokes and snide comments (as well as loud, raucous rounds of applause from the audiance to those verysame comments) by the presenters at the Grammy-podium about the 'publics' prudishness.

Last I heard both Jackass and Dimmerlake had both been pulled from the Grammys.
But then you never know about these disturbed, mentally challenged Hollyweirdos.
They're liable to replay the halftime vid at the Grammys just to show how "tolerant and compassionate" they are (puke).

As I posted above, you never know what these disturbed, mentally challenged Hollyweirdos will do. They're liable to replay the halftime vid at the Grammys just to show their (puke) "tolerance and compassion."
However, I would say to Hollywarped....." better not declare war on America b/c you have everything to lose."

Don't even bother with their views. I have an actress niece who is so incredibly silly that she spouts her adament disdain for the right and everyone who is conservative. However, when you ask her why, or challenge her position with facts, she cannot back up her stand.
Of course, this is a girl who didn't know that Taiwan is an island off Mainland China and thought it was "sort of" around Hawaii.
Most of them are complete and utter ninnies.
My questions are why are these people such a force for public policy? Why are the politicians listening to them? And finally, why are Americans so willing to lay down their responsibility to foster good citizenship and protection of our progeny, and allow their silliness to pervade the country?

BTW, I think the exposure of her breast as viewed by them as a shocking moment, was so childish as to be beyond my comprehension.
It was akin to a child urinating in the snow with his penis to spell his name.
They are too silly, too vapid, too immature, too self-absorbed, too ego-ridden for words.

My Grammy prediction - the mere mention of their names will ignite a standing ovation.
To: Liz
Perhaps I am like my parents who complained loudly about Elvis on Ed Sullivan, but it did not seem that Ms. Jackson's boob was the most objectionable thing at the Super Bowl 1/2 time show. The bumping, grinding, lyrics, etc were terrible. I am certain that the Grammy Awards Show will be full of that stuff. If I want porno, I can download it on my computer and presumably get the real thing rather than the stuff that is just as offensive, but with clothes on TV.
So long as we watch this trash and so long as we buy the goods of the advertisers who sponsor it, we will be bombarded with sleaze.

I didn't watch the halftime show but I'm sure your review was accurate. I did see the boob vid and to me it looked calculated and planned to shock. Career junkies Jackass and Dimmerlake got what they wanted .....their names splashed all over the media.

Funny thing is, even before the Janet/breast thing I left the room in disgust, so I missed it anyway.
I didn't want to be there when they rolled out the golden calf.
