NASCAR begins using hand signals

"Those include an arm held as if the official is looking at his watch to indicate a 15-second penalty, an arm in the air with the fist closed to indicate one lap, waving an arm back and forth overhead to indicate a pass through penalty, the official patting his rear end to indicate a driver must go to the back of the longest line, and pointing to the ground for a stop and go.

I wish I could find that picture to post of KB signaling JS pointing to his rear. I have it on my eyetide screensaver, but that doesn't transfer over here.

Clydesdales just passed the cars on pit row.........29 minutes to pre-race show.
