I have been a lurker for 5 yrs. you have finally given me a reason to post. Sir, 3000 of my fellow americans were either burnt alive or jumped to their deaths. Anyone who defends these people must have a ulterior (sp?) motive or hate america. Besides, wasn't the beast that kidnaped the girl from min. mexican? you sir are as disgusting if not more than them, to bring up a tradgedy as what happen in florida.

Post more please, because I like the cut of your jib. :o)

actually you're not far off. Dane is a registered Dem

You are way late KB. I gave my reason about 100 replies ago, but since you bring up that non-sequiter again, I will explain again for the lurkers.

I live in a heavily demo area and in local primary election, the action is on the demo ballot since the Pubbie is usually unopposed and you are not allowed to crossover in the primary. I vote for the most conservative demo in the primary and in the general local election, I usually vote for the Republican.

In state wide, House, Senate, and Presidential races, I have voted 100% Republican. When I have lived in other parts of the country I was registered as a Republican because their primaries would be more competitive.

"I hear the 2nd/3rd generation kids got a real attitude problemm a sense of entitlement."

Yeah, I don't know why this is happening. The 1st geners try to instill pride in them about being Americans, but a lot of the kids are say to hell with you. I think it is due to the liberal influences in schools and such. The 2nd/3rd geners growing up in the 50s/60s were not like this.

You really shouldn't project your fantasies in public like that, Laz.

Bottom line, as a soverign nation we need secure, well defined borders. You don't create those borders by rewarding those who violate them with access to already strained social services and the promise of citizenship.

The pursuit of work to support one's family is good and noble but it has to be done within the confines of the law. When the law is broken you suffer the consequences, you don't amend the law to reward lawbreakers. Unchecked, uncontrolled illegal immigration will result in Mexico's social ills being transported north. Mexico and El Presidente Fox need to address their issues at home rather than trying to offload them to the US.

No. He/she is stereotyping.
