I'll take my range of choices and leave the Castro loving New York Slimes to their 'one can of beans and one shoe'.

When scared people like Schwartz talk about being afraid to make a choice, you know you are dealing with a control freak.
They can't understand the world, so they want someone to come in and give them two choices in all matters.
They don't want the invisible hand of free markets. They want to wrap their tiny brains around the world, so they feel safe.
They simply cannot let it go; the are scared.

Government doesnt give us choices. It either interferes with free choice or it stays out of the way.A truth.
Also true: without proper government, we have less choice.

Intellectuals who disdain the common mans freedom never run out of rationalizations for government control. Ain't it the truth.
Now if you would be so gracious as to define the term "intellectuals" to us all it would be greatly appreciated.
I know you won't for you are petrified with the thought of having to use the word "elitist" aren't you!
