Ma? do you know any longtime residents of Laughlin? I have kin there. A cousin was brutally murdered at a conveinent store there, trying to remember the year...um...about a decade ago now. He was also featured as a victim on AMW. His folks were incessant gamblers they lived almost walking distance of the casino's. And Uncle Frank was in construction and helped build a few of them.

I may know your relatives, but not by name.
Casino folks are odd, we don't use names, maybe a first name, but rarely the last, it is a bit like being a FReeper, use the name you choose.
I haven't been in about 5 years and won't go again, it isn't worth the pain involved, in making the trip, and I hate going with other people.
In my day, I went and left, when I wanted to do so, none of this "Are you ready yet?
I don't recall the murder, but there are many of them, that you don't read about. Near the casinos is the worst area to live. I am 26 miles from them.
I am sorry that you lost a cousin in that manner.

Nine people have been quarantined after officials found a white powder in an envelope at Brooks City-Base today.
No one is complaining of sickness and no one was taken to a hospital, but the nine are being held for observation, San Antonio Fire Department officials said.
