Something that has been bugging me is how hard it is to find data, news, and images that have previously been posted to this thread. It is hard to search and correlate old data to new data. I've been thinking about a solution to this and I think I may have one. There is a form of collaberative web publishing called a "Wiki" that allows anyone with an account to add and edit pages on the web site, attach files, create links, etc. It's very powerful because it is decentralized; everyone can be an editor. Therefore, the flow if information is fast since you don't have to wait for one webmaster to update things.

My question to everyone is this: is there enough interest in this idea for me to set it up? I am willing to host it on my server and administrate it. Would you be willing to put in a little extra time to post your important work there? I could see this working as a powerful knowledge base if enough people participated. I don't want to set it up if it's not going to get much use, so please let me know if this sounds like something you might want to participate in.

For those of you who are techies, I'm thinking of using the TWiki package.

Please let me know what you think!
