Stale smoke...stop the presses...life has become intolerable. What do you do run like he** after you fart?

Farts dissipate. Sure, they sink to high heavens for a few seconds; but stale cigarette smell reeks for weeks. Farts do not get in your hair, your skin and your clothes. Farts don't get into the carpet and drapes, discolor the paint on the walls, or make the white ceiling turn gray. You don't need to have your clothes laundered, your hair shampooed and your body washed after someone farts. But, you certainly do when you are around a smoker.

Smoker's typically don't notice the reek in their cars, their hair, their clothes or thier body from their smoking. Much like an athelete may not be aware of bad BO. Do you think that non-smokers are gagging, and making comments to smokers because 'they are out to get you'? Typically, not. Most non-smokers couldn't care less if you smoked cigars, rubber tires, or rotten eggs. The fact is that most simply don't care what you do to your lungs; we are talking about "total apathy". Give yourself 'Black Lung' for all we care. What we DO care about is having to smell stale smoke.

So tell me with all that info about the cleanliness of a smoker and the smell.....do you attack people who don't smoke but just don't bathe, don't clean their houses, who have very BAD personal hygiene? Or do you politely walk away and say nothing? And for your info my husband is a non smoker and notices none of what you mentioned on the other hand his farts will peel the paint off the walls. Anti smokers look for petty things to cry about. All we want is to be left alone and not targeted to get every state in the union out of their financial holes with our money. JUST because we do something that has been socially accepted for years and now because of propaganda, the need to tax something and a few cry babies, we are being targeted. You didn't hear all this whinny cry baby stuff in the 50's....60's...70's....80,s. Nothing has changed only the need for the gov. to grab large sums of money from somewhere and for the control freaks who satisfy their addiction of controling people around them (I think they are breeding those people in test tubes somewhere and releasing them on the general public).
