Britney as Bond Girl? Aieeee!!
Houston Chronicle ^ | 2/5/2004

Hoping to follow former Bond girls such as Halle Berry, Jane Seymour and Ursula Andress, Britney Spears met in London recently with the producers of the James Bond movies, reportedly at her request.

Spears' Web site says she has signed on to produce and star in an adaptation of author Tobi Tobin's Door to Door, in which she will play a teenager trying to catch her big break in Hollywood.

As a long time Bond fan I take umbrage with the direction that the series has gone.

Bond is ageless in his adventures but not as Fleming developed him. The last Fleming book was "The Man with the Golden Gun". we learn that Bond was born in 1919 and had entered WWII as a callow yute!

It's 2004 and he is 85 years old!!!!

Maybe a screenplay where Sean Connery could play him at his "real" age is in order. He could chase the Golden Girls while riding his Aston Martin Rascal. No more Morland Cigarettes since he now has emphazema. His Silver Cigarette case is used for his stash of Viagra. He doesn't pack the Walther PPK anymore since he has "the palsy" and his hand shakes uncontollably.

Britney can be his grand daughter, by Moneypenny, who is attending Hogwarts! Mel Gibson can be the evil SPECTRE leader who has succeeded Blofeld.

Well you get the idea. Anyone want to pitch this to CBS?

OK, I'm nowhere near as prolific as some others here, but I'm going to consolidate my suggestions:

Spacey Arred
Candy Midriff
Atherell Arnot
Virginia Dowditt
