The Coast Guard is out in full force and the Citadel Band is playing Patriotic songs. The Citadel BagPipers will be playing.

There are two Container Ships off to the side. You can't see Patriots Point even though they are directly across from it and normally you have a clear view of it.

The security is exceptionally tight. They have a really hard time since he is speaking right on the waterfront and his back will be to the water and that is why the Coast Guard Ship is going to be the back drop.

I just hate that container ship riding at anchor, I wish that they had been able to get it out.

Wow! They just panned the crowd and it's a big one too. There is activity, so I guess that the President has arrived. One of the Secret Service personnel that got off the plane with him was a woman and I just saw her.

The band is getting ready to play "Hail to the Chief"

Tom Ridge announced the President of the USA.

Tom Ridge is speaking about the added security here at the port. He is the only one on the Podium with the President.

The President is going to speak. Glad to be back in SC.
One of America's great cities.
An important hub of commerce.
Make sure that the port is secure and safe.
