The US government has told the world its assassins have been murdering Muslims http://forums.military.com/1/OpenTopic?a=tpc&s=78919038&f=9351915375&m=7141982136&r=7371998476#73719984768&output=gplain and other inconvenient people ever since administration of Roosevelt. Some results are: Islamic terrorists have been able to murder thousands of Americans, the Cold War has been replaced with Bush-league crusade against terrorism, world's largest oilfield is occupied by US armed forces, and American soldiers are killed nearly daily in country that had effectively suppressed anti-American terrorists. Americans nevertheless pay dearly in dollars as well as lives for oil provided by BushÂ’s cronies.

Sovereign nations must destroy imperialism. Although since 1985 the media has established US as imperialist assassinator, despite AP and other reports circulated among “American” broadcasters and publishers, few Americans realize that R ussia is deploying modernized http://www.fas.org/nuke/guide/russia/icbm/rt-2pmu.htm intercontinental ballistic missiles as close as possible to the US.

Bush-league crusaders are officially policing the world for rest of the world’s own good. The world sees destabilization of Asia, Europe and African with Muslim emigration, the US squandering most of the world’s wealth, and US imperialist policies promising democracies in places already populated by suppressed Islamic “extremist” majorities with sufficient Muslim scientists to provide weapons of mass destruction to the Jihad. Truly democratic elections in Iraq, Afghanistan, Egypt or Pakistan promise legal institution of Islamic Jihad called for by Osama bin Ladin. Elections in US promise continuation of Bush-league crusade or reformation by the party of Clinton and Carter, or both.

Impeachment of US President and VP will leave intact US administration in charge of possibly competent General and politician. www.Vot eToImpeach.org

I'd guess that it's one of those virus-type things that spoofs the return address. Some of the technogeeks around here could probably give you a better opinion than I.

Would you post the e-mail headers?
Obfuscate your address though.

Forging SMTP headers is embarassingly simple to do. There has been a lot of criticism of SMTP for that.

I would not attribute the message to a hack unless something on the site itself is suspicious.

But if you want to post the full headers of the message you received, I can tell you if the email originated from their server.

Look what came up the other day when I did a Google search for a picture of John Kerry with Daniel Ortega. I clicked on one photo of Ortega (now I can't remember which one):

These Weapons of Mass Destruction cannot be displayed

The weapons you are looking for are currently unavailable. The country might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your weapons inspectors mandate.

Please try the following:

  • Click the refresh.gif (82 bytes) Regime change button, or try again later.
  • If you are George Bush and typed the country's name in the address bar, make sure that it is spelled correctly. (IRAQ).
  • To check your weapons inspector settings, click the UN menu, and then click Weapons Inspector Options. On the Security Council tab, click Consensus. The settings should match those provided by your government or NATO.
  • If the Security Council has enabled it, The United States of America can examine your country and automatically discover Weapons of Mass Destruction.
If you would like to use the CIA to try and discover them,
    click Detect Settings Detect weapons
  • Some countries require 128 thousand troops to liberate them. Click the Panic menu and then click About US foreign policy to determine what regime they will install.
  • If you are an Old European Country trying to protect your interests, make sure your options are left wide open as long as possible. Click the Tools menu, and then click on League of Nations. On the Advanced tab, scroll to the Head in the Sand section and check settings for your exports to Iraq.
  • Click the Bomb button if you are Donald Rumsfeld.

I doubt it. There were no attachements and the error was a simple runtime error due to a mistake in coding a link that they had messed up. My AV is updated everyday.

There actually is a host in DNS called military.com too.
# host military.com
military.com has address 147.208.183.200

And the IP address is in that Savvis subnet posted above. Apparently they're being hosted by Savvis. Looks legit to me (network-wise).

Your Voice of the Air Force

One of our members asks the question, "What is the definition of an Air Commando?" We have seen the termed used but who does it apply to and where did the term originate? Air Commandos are now the backbone of the airlift, insertion and extraction of special operations forces. Their history has typically been cloaked in secrecy or clandestine operations. Tell us what you know about Air Commandos in "Air Force Special Operations."
