[history]
February 4, 2004 -- ALBANY - Evoking the image of Custer's last stand, one of Wesley Clark's chief backers in New York said yesterday it appeared the former general's race for the Democratic presidential nomination might be over.
"I think the general is about to meet Sitting Bull," said state Senate Minority Leader David Paterson, a Manhattan Democrat.

Paraphrasing he said, "in my first week in office I will go to the UN and rejoin the community of nations".
To: Texasforever
Oh yes, let's go back to taking orders from Kofi Annan.

>>This strategy [Dems concede the South] will put 5 open Rat Southern senate seats in serious jeopardy.
If one of those 5 open Senate seats is Georgia's, I don't think anything the D'rat Presidential candidate does, is going to affect that race. I can't imagine a Dem candidate winning that seat, unless Sam Nunn came out of retirement.

in other words, Kerry wants and NEEDS a permission slip.
that transmits weakling. (so french)

Yep, Kerry is the gift to Rove that just keeps giving. Heck the entire donkey field has made Rove's largest problem spending the 150 million dollar war chest. They produce all of the RNC issue ads for him.

Paraphrasing he said, "in my first week in office I will go to the UN and rejoin the community of nations". Oh yeah, let's sign Kyoto and join that international court thing, too.

(In my humble opinion, the new expression for backing down from a fight should be called 'frenching')

Oh yeah, let's sign Kyoto and join that international court thing, too. Why stop there? Let's just rename the country "The United Nations of America".
To: AlbertWang
he should be smacked down by the PC crowd.
He won't be smacked down, he's a Democrat. They make the rules, not obey them.

I think Dean, and Sharpton and maybe Clark will hang in. They have nothing to lose, really. I see a brokered convention ahead for the DemocRATS.
Here's hoping they bleed themselves to death money wise before the fall.

Did you see the great picture posted yesterday of Senator Kerry shaking hands with the Sandanista Daniel Ortega while a smirking, simpering Tom Harkin looks on? We will see that photo again, I'll bet.

Dean was about ideals. Remind me again, exactly what were those ideals?

"Remind me again, exactly what were those ideals?"
Hate thy not-my-neighbor, George Bush.

Di[d] you see what Kerry said in his speech about what he would do in his first week? It is a ready made RNC campaign ad.No, that won't be used.
More importantly, since Bagman McAwful and his crew of baying jackals have launched the "Bush was AWOL" redux and Kerry refuses to disavow it at every opportnity, the RNC should be gearing up to ask the question:
"So, Senator, exactly what happened behind that hootch in Vietnam after the wounded Viet Cong soldier fled his position unarmed and you went after him, gun in hand?"
Slaughtering an unarmed, wounded and defenseless enemy combatant is a war crime.

"Which is why John Edwards will most likely be the V.P. candidate. His job will be to bring in South Carolina and any other southern states."Bingo.

I think it would be foolish to attack Kerry for any actions in Vietnam. Instead publicly question him for his anti-war book (complete with upside down American flag on the cover), his association with Jane Fonda while our troops were still being wounded and killed, and his anti-war testimony before Congress.
War "hero" indeed.

Nope. Sorry. Liberals can use all kinds of words conservatives can't and get away with it. Cruz Bustamonte let 'Nigger' slip in a room full of African Americans, and they came to his defense.
If that were a conservative, you'd have read about his life in the obituary column the following day. Lott was being nice to an old man at a birthday party and lost the Senate Majority seat.
It's a double standard, but its the law.

Wesley Clark is dead! He never was alive to begin with! Also, being 911 causing Clinton blessed, he was doomed from the start! Goodbye.........Wesley, have tons of fun in your own litte black hole. Your fifteen minutes of fame are over! America will never miss you!

I think many of us are missing the point here. We know whoever the Dims put up for Pres will be trounced by Bush. The Dims do not care. There is no point of having a RAT president if congress and the senate are held by republicans. The Dims want one and one thing only. That is to have the courts packed with liberals to undermine anything that smells pro America.
It was proven with Estrada and the rest of the qualified judges that were filibustered. Our only hope for a better future is a filibuter proof senate.
Beating Kerry is easy. Beating back a liberal court, a liberal media and the liberal education system will be a bit harder.
