"Boston was teeming with thousands of drunk revelers celebrating the Patriots' Super Bowl victory parade Tuesday by urinating on City Hall thanks to the Mayor's (Thomas M. Menino) decision to not have any Port-a-Potties as they might become 'dangerous weapons'..Is Boston ready to handle the somewhat larger celebration of the Democratic National Convention? -Howie Carr

The Tales from Urine Town:
Callers into the Carr show who were present at today's Super Bowl victory parade commencing at Copley Square, told tales of unruly teenagers and college students throwing bottles of urine into the crowds, boys holding signs "WE LOVE LESBIANS" as women flashed their breasts in exchange for Mardi Gras-style beads and young girls kissing one another.
One caller had a brother serving in Iraq and was dismayed over the abuse of freedoms for which his brother was risking his life to protect.
The Mayor of Boston had made the decision this year not to have porta johns for the masses and bars sported heavy cover charges for drinks and use of their facilities. Kids openly urinated into soda bottles and threw them into the crowd.
A teen caller who refered to himself as Mr. X and took use of the ' Howie's voice disguise', told how he worked in the office of a local high school where parents were signing permission slips for their child's absence from school in order to attend the Super Bowl Victory party held by the city of Boston.
The Herald had reported hundreds of thousands were expected to greet the triumphant Patriots along the parade route. Many were school-aged children stacked 10 deep along both sides of Tremont Street by the Common.
Another caller laughed and asked if the Hemp Fest had aligned itself today with the Victory parade celebration.
Many today did agreed, even though confessing to having fun; that it was definitely not a family event - as one caller termed the (NF)in NFL meant Non-Family.
More in detail will follow tomorrow in Howie Carr's column in the Globe .
Earlier today,The Herald had headlined: "Violent victory: Police: Some revelers `hellbent on causing damage." "While Boston police say they were prepared for the thousands of young revelers who flooded city streets in the wake of the Patriots' Super Bowl victory Sunday night, officers said they were confronted with a new, more destructive level of hooliganism not seen before."
``We didn't have a phenomenon where we had people attacking us before,'' said acting Boston Police Department Commissioner James Hussey.

"officers said they were confronted with a new, more destructive level of hooliganism not seen before."
I did not read anywhere in this article that the police actually did ANYTHING. No arrests?
Actually, I haven't even heard the question ....
WHY wasn't janet jackson arrested for indecent exposure? So much for police doing anything worthwhile in Houston.
Is this the new trend to tear our country apart? look at the degenerate perverted displays and smile and turn away?

So proud to be from St. Louis - when the Rams won we had NO violence and the city celebrated with a nice parade and rally.
God I love Midwest values!

Correction again: San Fran "Urine Town 1" and Boston "Urine Town 2". I hate to take that medal of distinction away from San Franciso..my apologies! :(

There were paddy wagons seen up and down the route so I am sure you will read more of the arrests, if any, tomorrow.

LOL - In all seriousness, both are particularly troubling. The health hazard to citizens of San Francisco is obvious. In Boston, it is sad that in a way a health hazard is created because the Mayor is afraid that porta-potties will be used in criminal acts. Thus, hooligans don't have porta-potties to destroy, so they urinate on public property.
