Our Republican President Was A DESERTER!!!

We must fact the fact that our Republican president was a DESERTER! He never even served in the REAL military. Instead he was in the Illinois state militia during the Blackhawk War and NEVER saw any combat. Captain Abraham Lincoln even admitted years later that the worst he suffered in the Blackhawk War was a bunch of mosquito bites. Not only that, even though Captain Abraham Lincoln mustered out of the militia on July 10, 1832, there is NO RECORD of a Captain Abraham Lincoln being in the militia (not a REAL army) from May 27, 1832 to July 10, 1832. One can only conclude, despite any facts to the contrary, that Abraham Lincoln was a DESERTER. At the very least he was AWOL.
Contrast that sad military record with that of our great Democrat, George McClellan who bravely faced down Quaker Guns outside Richmond, VA in 1862. McClellan, who is now running for president, is absolutely correct in his assertion that Lincoln is a miserable failure as a president especially since he did not seek the advice and consent from our European allies in the War of Rebellion. I look forward to a political campaign featuring a distinguished REGULAR military officer with a chest full of medals up against a Republican deserter who slacked off in the militia, not the REAL army. One candidate spent the war slacking off and suffering from nothing more than a bunch of mosquito bites and the other candidate is a genuine WAR HERO who did not desert.
This November the choice is yours. VOTE for the Democrat candidate WAR HERO....NOT the Republican deserter.
p.s. Did I mention that the Democrat candidate is a WAR HERO?

Didn't that VietNam "war hero" who served in VietNam toss away the medals he recieved?....(though they really weren't "his")
I'd think to do that, even symbolically, would be a major slap in the face to all veterans.
But then, that's just *my* opinion.

I thought Bush got a expedited discharge because they phased out the F-102s and didn't want to train someone to fly their replacement who wouldn't be around.

I served in the Corps shortly after the US pulled out of Vietnam, so I was never in country. But, I did serve with a whole bunch of Vietnam veterans, and being a grunt, most of these veterans I served with (and under) were genuine combat veterans. Funny how most of them never talked about what they saw or did over there - - they didn't want to talk about it. Only after a few beers could you sometimes pry a story or two out of them, and they only talked for the benefit of us fellow Marine Corps grunts. Much of what I heard sticks with me to this day. Chilling beyond belief.
Which brings me to Kerry. The more he talks, the less I trust him. I am beginning to think that anything he may have gotten involved in over there was strictly by accident, and very, very brief. His shameless use of his Vietnam service is a disgrace, especially after he came home with political office on his mind, held a finger to the wind, and then went on a crusade against his country and against his fellow servicemen who were still being killed by an enemy which was no doubt grateful for Kerry and Company's efforts in the USA.
Kerry is a real scumbag, in my opinion.

Quaker guns? I thought that Quakers were pacifists!!??One of the ways Lee bluffed out McClellan outside Richmond in the Seven Days' Battles was to paint tree logs black and point them at the Union forces as if they were cannon. That plus the fact that Lee marched his men around and around (same group) in circles made McClellan think Lee's forces and armaments were much larger than what they really were. McClellan could have easily overwhelmed Lee but Lee's bluff made McClellan delay until Lee could get reinforcements. Since the wood "cannons" couldn't fire, they earned the name of "Quaker Guns."

Very interesting letter. McClellan's troops surely loved him. Little doubt of that. Why they lavished such affection on the pompous, preening and borderline-seditious goldbrick is puzzling. I mean, MacArthur, for instance, was similarly admired, was about as puffed-up and vain, and likewise undermined his Commander-In-Chief, but he was also a bold and successful General who won battles. "Little Mac" was a timorous loser.

While Kerry unabashedly toots his own horn as being an ol' blood-and-guts bona-fide savior of humanity. Kerry also admits to being a war criminal. He claimed he had first hand experience of war crimes being committed, and as he didn't report them he became an accessory to the crime. But that's his story...he may have lied.

Bush needs his own U.S. Grant. This "Grant" must find WMD's or arrange to overthrow the mullahs in Iran.

The Brits were to the Confederacy what Al Queda is to the Demoncratic Party.
If Kerry wins in 2004, there will be mass celebration in the Arab world.

He preferred to wait forever, finally causing Lincoln to axe him. Kinda like we'd still be waiting for President Gore's reaction to 9-11.

Bush needs his own U.S. Grant. He already had one and his name was General Tommy Franks, although tactically Franks was more along the lines of Stonewall Jackson (whose first name was also "Thomas").
