..."everyone involved has said it was an unfortunate incident and their apologies are in order."

PC SUCKS. Unfortunate incident? There were approximately 1 Billion people watching this planned boob shot on the planet. Now, how was this viewed by the rest of the world? Welcome to Sodom.

This goes way beyond an unfortunate incident. The world has changed since 9/11 and many habits are broken by subsequent events. I do not pretend that an event is unfortunate.

There is nature and there is a God. I will do my part to make sure that this type of noise does not enter my home.

RE: But a red bra underneath the bustier was supposed to keep Jackson fully covered, the singer contests. "Justin was supposed to pull away the bustier to reveal a red lace bra underneath, but the garment collapsed," according to Stephen Huvane, a Jackson spokesman. "I'm not going to get into the details of how it was planned, but that's how it was supposed to go."

Jeeze, that's what rehearsals are for (sarcasm on)

Maybe they should team up with Josh Groban (sang "You Raise Me Up" during the pre-game show). He has class AND real talent!

I agree about the Timberlake assessment.

Ladies, if you're into "I-cut-my-own-hair-with-a-clipper-but-I-do-a-lousy-job-of-it" dorky doofuses who look like they would spend all day all by themselves watching a Dr. Who marathon on the couch in the dorm lobby... he's your man.

"It's not a pastie," he said. "It's a nipple ring she's had for many years."

I'll bet she polished it to high gloss for its big audience debut.

My fifteen year old daughter agrees with you and she thinks this as a tit-for-tat (no pun intended) for Britney kissing M.

My daughter thinks they are so full of themselves, they are using a world stage to play their dirty soap opera.

Right!

It was the Super Bowl not the World Cup.

"I don't get the whole Justin Timberlake thing. He's an ugly little runt IMO. "

Aint that the truth. Not only does he lack natural rythm or soul, two traits normally required in his field, he does not even have that 'strikingly good looks' thing going, as do some singers with less than stellar talent.

I think he is simply living off the reputation of n'sync, and also the fact that he has an unusual name, which, believe it or not, counts a lot in the marketing world of pop.

My niece was watching some teeny show on MTV or Trio or some such and they were talking about Justin and Brittany. Apparently they go out of their way to appeal to gay men. Thus the videos of him wearing no shirt in the rain with his pants half down. This apprently appeals to gay men.
I think he is pathetic in his attempt to be a man!

Well, looks like everyone is tossing around this hot potato. I've not heard anyone take responsibility, without putting their own pathetic spin on it.

I don't feel sorry for Timberlake. He could lose every endorsement, and never work another day in his life, and still be quite comfortable, I'm sure.
He could have salvaged his image somewhat by taking ownership of his part in the incident, instead of bragging about it...and then back peddling when he figured out it might cost him some $$$$s in lost revenue.

I lost all respect for Janet J when she spoke out in support of her brother. I'm very loyal to my family, but not to the point of enabling a pedophile.

This was some lamebrain's scheme to one-up the Madonna/Spears fiasco...thinking that the John/Joan Q Publics of our country are too desensitized to notice or care.

Guess they got fooled.
