McDonald's To Drop Timberlake Sponsorship - Timberlake also stood to jeopardize a marketing relationship with McDonald's although a spokesman for the fast food giant said Monday -- while declining to say whether Timberlake will appear in future ads -- "everyone involved has said it was an unfortunate incident and their apologies are in order."

nelly and p-diddy sound like feminine names or put-downs. why would any man choose to be called these names?

" Grown up men don't watch soft-core porn/whores with their mothers, wives, and children in the room. "
I think that needed to be said.......
and while I will admit unfortunately that some women tolerate porn, most women dislike it, but are afraid to say it....
My 18 year old was so stunned and insulted by that superbowl crap that she called us from her superbowl party almost hysterical.....
its one thing for a guy to sit in his room with door closed and look at that stuff and do whatever you guys do, but its entirely another to bring any kind of porn....soft or hard, it makes no differance....out in family land....

Right on brutha!!!
OCC = American Male
To: Just mythoughts
My fifteen year old daughter agrees with you and she thinks this as a tit-for-tat (no pun intended) for Britney kissing M. My daughter thinks they are so full of themselves, they are using a world stage to play their dirty soap opera. Can't they just prank call each other like the other teenyboppers do and leave the rest of us out of it?
To: joinedafterattack
This headline is a bit misleading -- McDonald's has not dropped Timberlake as a spokesman.

These men are not metrosexuals... Senior is an original American badass. I guess you missed the episode where Senior and Junior got together and shared some tears, albeit manly tears. American Chopper is the only non-sports show I watch, and darnit I missed it last night because I was watching sports.

My cousin works for Discovey channel. He told me that they have research showing that the public is so yearning for a show like this because it represents normal people, and not the timberlakes, britney's etc. It is why the show is so popular, nit just because of the bikes.

Here Here!! I agree fully with your article. I, too, wasn't interested in the half time "show"... so I decided it was time to check email.
The game was superior and its sad seeing it overshadowed by garbage. I am so tired of women and men acting like pigs, displaying the worst in human beings. And this garbage is representing all of us... I resent that. We are better than this. I've had it, I've had enough... but I sure don't know what to do about it.
The pregame tribute to NASA was so moving... I prematurely thought how nice those in power have finally gotten the message and clean up their act. Shame on them.

That episode shows that you can be a badass and still have human feeling and emotions to things. That is why the show is so good. It is not some caricatured image of a bad ass, these are typical people who we can relate to.

"American Chopper has only gotten better and the last POW bike was really something!" I liked it but, my favorite is the Apache helicopter bike.
Looks like Paul Sr did okay by himself in the earlier iron-working shop that gave him the $$$$ to start the chopper bike operation... I bet he never imagined he'd become a 'movie' star over the chopper shop. The Snap-On Tool bike was a $150,000 bike. (I heard that $$$$ number mention on it.) He may be making as much from the Discover Channel now as he does making bikes. (...and, I'm happy for them)

I have seen bits and pieces of that show from time to time. I do not watch because I am not a big fan of motorcycles. However, I do know who they are and the one commercial with the guy flying over that line of vehicles to disappear into the horizon was funny as all get out. I loved the part where the father turns around and slaps his son on the arm in disgust! LOL!!!

What about "American Hotrod"? Has anyone ever seen it? Pretty entertaining, too, but not as good IMO.
I liked it, more about building and a little less about employee relationships. I refuse to belive the finance lady can be such a b***h and not be fired.

Are you kidding, who would know, got to give the writers and tv reporters something to say to keep their names alive.
To: stainlessbanner; veronica
nelly and p-diddy sound like feminine names or put-downs. why would any man choose to be called these names?"nellie" is actually gay slang for feminine homosexuals. Means the same thing as "Mary", basically. Think of Dom DeLouise shrieking "You sissy Marys!" at the all-male chorus line in "Blazing Saddles.
I can't imagine a rapper wanting to project that particular image. Unless the genre has gotten a lot more inclusive lately...
To: dubyagee
I am not buying the story about the red lace bra. It ripped too cleanly away. BS, IMHO.You shouldn't buy it, because it wasn't a red lace bra.
It was a red lining. And it was absolutely meant to tear away cleanly right along with the rest of that chest-covering.
As I said on another thread, it is just AMAZING that the red lining didn't leave so much as one stray red thread behind, to testify to the violence with which it had been so unexpectedly torn away. Wink, wink.
