The thread is about Rudy Guiliani speaking at the GOP convention. You use it as an occasion to start running everybody through your litmus test screening machine.

I suspect most hard-nosed conservatives would welcome Rudy speaking in his home town.

You really do need to relax; it's too early in the day to get wound up like a coiled spring.

Don't get your knickers in a twist. Alot of people like Rudy and not just because of 9/11. He's a tough guy when it comes to people he's not afraid to tell them where to go. I will never forget the time Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat was ejected from the Lincoln Center in Manhattan on a visit to the US on the grounds he was a terrorist by Rudy. The Clinton administration was appalled and let Rudy know it. Rudy did what he thought was right regardless. He was not embarassed to give back that check to the Saudi Prince after 9/11. There are alot of other reasons. But I must admit - Rudy is either hated or loved.
