Good news we found it out now...this guy cannot beat Bush.

We hope!

Odds are Bush et al won't even use this. After all, they have friends in China too.

If I can trust Grampa Dave, who cited in post #30 a 2/2/04 Issikoff Newsweak column highlighting this story, yes. ;-)

These reports always claim that they returned the money.

Where would they return it to, and do they have a record of the returned moneys?

I want to see the documentation.

That explains McAuliffe going on the airwaves and talking about Pres Bush being AWOL during his ANG days which he knew was a lie, but it shifted focus away from Kerry and the Chinese fundraising -- Clintons are running this whole primary unless I am way off. Kerry was the one before the primaries started and the reason why their convention is in Boston IMHO.

This whole primary season has been a farse and debates were a chance for the RATs to attack Bush. Dean surprised the Clintons with his surging to the front so they took him out. Clark was there to muddy the waters for Dean when Edwards didn't catch fire. Personally believe the Clintons have wanted Kerry all along because unless something horrible would happen has a very slim chance of getting elected because he is too far left for the American mainstream which is most of the people. That suits the Hillary Clinton plan -- Kerry gets defeated but the Clintons still run DNC for her run in 2008! A Dean victory would have turned over DNC to Dean even when he lost in the general election.

NEVER FORGET

China Army Moneyman JAMES RIADY declared under oath in his own March 19, 2001 China Gate Plea Agreement Hearing that not one single nickel he gave to Democrats, thru his underling JOHN HUANG, was ever returned to him.

In the last week of his close 1996 Senatorial Campaign Senator JOHN KERRY stealthily flew into Los Angeles International Airport to meet with JOHN HUANG at a nearby hotel to pick up a $10,000 Campaign check in China Army Money.

This Check helped Senator KERRY get passed a serious late charge by his rival for the U.S. Senate that year.

The Enemy is now Within...
and always has been.

Signed:.."ALOHA RONNIE" / Present at JAMES RIADY's Chinagate Plea Agreement Hearing

Maximum coverage from his mistress, the press? I don't think so.

More here -

"Congressional documents obtained by Newsweek show that Democratic presidential hopeful Sen. John Kerry met and personally corresponded with Johnny Chung, a central figure in the foreign-money scandals of 1996, prior to Chung's throwing Kerry a Beverly Hills fund-raiser. Kerry has previously maintained that his first meeting with Chung was at the September 9, 1996, event, reports Investigative Correspondent Michael Isikoff in the February 9 issue of Newsweek (on newsstands Monday, February 2). Chung, who visited the Clinton White House 49 times, eventually pleaded guilty to funneling $28,000 in illegal contributions to the campaigns of Kerry and Bill Clinton."

http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/040201/nysu013a_1.html

and this from 1998 -

"Chung was charged yesterday in Los Angeles with funneling illegal contributions to the 1996 Clinton-Gore campaign by asking friends and employees of his office technology firm to make donations for which they were later reimbursed. He also is charged with engaging in a similar "straw donor" scheme to assist the 1996 reelection bid of Sen. John F. Kerry (D-Mass.)."

Good questions .. I haven't seen any evidence .. I suppose they think we are to just take their word for it

I truly hope this story gets maximum coverage!

Don't hold your breath. Nothing is going to get any coverage while the media is focused on destroying Bush with the WMD story. Neither Ricin, nor treason, nor another terrorist attack will sway them from their appointed mission to reclaim the White House.

If Kerry is elected, I too am leaving the country...but I am moving to Tahiti.

Iceland? I guess living in Iceland is still better than living in America with Kerry as President.

I sure do wish I owned one of Kerry's books. These are a hot commodity on E-Bay these days.

Yep - this is the top of the market for Kerry memorabilia. After he gets trounced in November (assuming he makes it that far) his book will revert to scrap paper value again.
