I didn't see it and I concur with Rush it was tacky and juvenile. It was more childish and embarrassing than obscene and pornographic. Grown men and women behaving like 10 year olds. Our culture has reached the point where immature behavior is rewarded. For adults its not a big deal. And my message to the MTV generation would be, "grow up and get a life!"

I saw it, but didn't care for either Janet Jackson or Justin Timberlake (shudder....), so I wasn't watching closely at all. In fact, I didn't know anything about it until I was listening to the radio on my way into school this morning.

But, what did everyone expect from a song entitled "Rock Your Body"?

I think it would have been a little more 'titillating' if it had popped out on it's own, It looked stupid and clumsy the way they freed that puppy.

We keep referring to this vulgar trash as our culture. It is not our culture. The vulgarity and perversion pushed on us by the media is the culture of but a few. A few at the top of the corporate media. It is the intentional trashing of our society by evil-doers. This people ought not to have jobs, they should be shunned and scorned by all. The so called entertainers that Hollyweird enlists are talentless dupes who had they not sold their souls would have never been anything. There is alot of great talent out there, yet corporate entertainment bombards us with talentless deviates.

Rush is wrong on this one. This was on a family show. MTV is cable (or satellite), it's not broadcast. We don't let our kids watch MTV because we have it blocked.

This is a rated TV-G rated show. We have our TV set to block anything above TV-G.

I expect MTV to be slutty. That's why we don't watch it. I don't expect the Super Bowl to be slutty.

A few years ago, I encouraged the kids to watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade with me. This was CBS also. One of the acts was from the Broadway Show Caberet. It was so sleezy. The custumes were S&M type outfits, and the dancing was very provocative. This was shown Thanksgiving morning at the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade. I always thought a parade was family entertainment. Now, we don't watch the parade.

It's a shame that our kids can't be kids anymore. My parents went to one of the Super Bowls (I think Super Bowl X) when I was kid. I had a great time watching that Super Bowl on TV looking for my parents. I know my parents really enjoyed that half-time show. It was a nice clean show. My kids won't be able to enjoy things that I did, and it's a shame.
