Gonna have to clue me in how Kerry "somewhat opposes" the war in Iraq. He voted for it.

You were saying that Kerry is more conservative than President Bush.

Would you care to point out where exactly?

He voted against the 60billion in funding for the troops and has since said, among other things, that his vote was not an authorization for the President to conduct war in Iraq.

What he means by that is between him and the good Lord because I sure the heck don't know.

Perhaps I am poorly informed, but was this a separate bill from the $87 billion one? With respect to that one, it passed on a voice vote, with Robert Byrd reportedly as the only discernible nay.

Nope, can't see any difference there.

So let's all vote Tancredo! He's the only candidate mentioned here at FR who isn't actually running.

He could get dozens of votes in November!

No, bad typing on my part. 67 billion was for the troops, 20 billion for Iraq. Kerry and Edwards voted no. Gephart and Lieberman voted aye.

With respect to that one, it passed on a voice vote, with Robert Byrd reportedly as the only discernible nay.

Nope.

I see no mention of the cozy involvement Botox had with the selling of classified missile guidance systems from Loral to China for campaign cash. He was deeply involved in that crap.

Bush opposes being a traitor to our country.

I think Kerry is taller.

Beyond that, both will say or do whatever is necessary to be President.

Questioning is good but direct them to the author, I am simply the messenger.

On the other hand I think it gives an excellent synopsis on why Bush must be re-elected despite his shortcomings conservatively speaking.

Think judicial nominations.

You haven't heard that Kerry is now opposed to the war? He only says it every day on television.

In fact, last weekend on FNC here was the deal:

He was asked why in 1991 he opposed the Gulf War, even though the UN supported it. He said he was against it because the resolution didn't include taking out Saddam. That's what he says today. Not why he opposed it back then.

Then Chris Wallace asked Kerry why he supported the resolution this time but now opposes it. He says it's because the UN opposed it!

He made no sense. He has no sense. He is worse than a political opportunist.

Kerry has been living off of wealthy women since returning from Nam. How in the Hell can you make such a stupid remark ... oh, and Kerry Ketchup Boy is a democrat whose proposed speading increases--after repealing Bush's tax cuts--will ad more than 200 BILLION to the federal deficits! What a Maroon!... You probably don't care to discuss Lurch's love for abortion on demand.

I won't argue with that. Methinks there will be plenty of ammo for Dubya to use against him come the fall, if he is the nominee. Premature to cast him as such at this time, though. Just a couple of weeks ago, Dean had it all sewn up, didn't he?

I have files on all of them and with the internet, they seem to forget how easily we can look up the candidate's own words.
