I guess it's official. Tom Brokaw deems it to have been accidental. Meanwhile, tonight's "Access Hollywood" showed an interview with Justin Timberlake immediately after the stunt. Not yet knowing there was any controversy, he bragged that it was "quick, slick, and to the point." Janet's brother, also interviewed, said "That's Janet" until he learned it would be better to blame an accident.

They all think we're really, really stupid. It's sickening.

Did anyone notice in all this totally justifiable revulsion at the Timberlake/Jackson duet, that every ad on the whole show was either for hard-on pills, or featured horse farts, dog's biting genitals etc. The cultural degradation was hardly limited to the gay white guy simulating rape of a black hooker.
