Plain chemicals becoming alive due only to addition of energy, and animals turning into humans, and that observable short term devolution turns into evolution if you do it long enough -- common sense?

Oh, are you going to tell me that I'm not up to date on evolutionary "FACTS" -- that no credible evolutionist now says that plain chemicals can be stimulated into life by adding energy or that animals turn into humans? Please do so!

So, logically the entire solar system should break down, the status quo of the universe should be clouds of hydrogen nubulae spreading out, finally resulting in a homogenous spread of matter across space. That would be complete disorder .... but any astronomer will tell you that the exact opposite occurs. This is observable.

As to your presumption that 'plain chemicals' can be stimulated into life by adding energy ... this is simply bad science. However, we have and we currently do create basic lifeforms from basic building blocks every day in univerisities across the globe.

Evolution does not necessarily contradict Creationism. The fossil record shows that dinosaurs indeed existed well before the rise of man. However, there is no mention of them in the bible. Ever wonder why? Assuming that God is omnipotent, and all knowing, he would know that we would NEED fossil fuels as civilization took hold. Without coal, oil and natural gas, we would never have made it into the industrial age. So, the world was prepared for us.
