Wasn't it fun? Especially if the kids were allowed to stay up and watch at least the first half of the game, 'cause that's where the really filthy ones were slotted.

Part 2 was no improvement. One of the more humdrum, seemingly mild-mannered advertisements, came from a pharmaceutical firm promoting the newest weapon for erectile disfunction. My jaw dropped, while my 17 year old teen daughter took it in stride. Possible side effects included a 4 hour erection ...! Parents of younger children must have had an interesting evening, explaining these ads to their kids.

"Aim for mediocrity, it's only fair."

Priceless. Sums it all up.

actually I completely ignored it...other than occasional glances... the end of the game was good but I've seen NCAA games that were more suspenseful and unpredictable.

NCAA football is better than NFL at this point.

Are you sure, I watched the last nine seconds and said that was good.

Missed all the other garbage, BTW that 9 seconds was the totality of my football season.

Pitchers and catchers report in 4 days 1st cub spring training game 4 march.

Vote Democrat - "Aim for mediocrity, it's only fair."

Thanks, I think that it really does sum up the Democrat philosophy on everything from foreign policy to public education, to healthcare. It brings it all down to something that anyone can understand. I should have a bumber sticker made up with that saying.

I enjoyed the Tuttle family too. Pa Tuttle reminds me of my own.

The Tuttles are a father and son custom motorcycle "choppers" building business that has their own tv show on one of the learning channels. The typical show goes something like this:

A custom chopper is due to be delivered in a week. The artistic son wastes time on detailing the bike which sends Pa Tuttle into a rage about every five of the show. Pa Tuttle emerges from his offices, screams, rants, and raves for a while, then goes back into his office to sleep some more. Tuttle son number two is comic relief, he tries to joke with Pa Tuttle to calm him down. After about about ten blind rages by Pa Tuttle over delayed parts and slow sons the bike is ready and the show concludes with them delivering it to a high profile client amidst cheering crowds.

When having a Homosexual Madison Ave., CBS Liberals migraine I refer to past pleasantries in my life to relieve the pain.

Now view a real class act,
Grace Kelly.

they showed the move on commercial? They made a big fanfare of not showing it.

I did not bother at all witht he superbowl this year. The commercials are pointless and no longer "fun". Judging from the descriptions, the madison avenue manbashing has even infected sports advertisers.

Whatever CBS paid the NFL, it was not enough given the fall out. Parents will definitly NOT consider the Superbowl a family friendly event in the future.

Yeah, I MUCH prefer college football. But I'm still depressed since FB season is now officially over, other than Arena football, which will have to do, I guess.

It was all total garbage but what can you expect from that cesspool named MTV, art?

Don't tell me CBS didn't know what they were going to do at halftime, the dirty commericals just added to the general sleezy atmosphere.

Jeez, now you can't even let your kids watch the superbowl! Another American institution flushed down the toilet by the scum that control Hollywood and the music industry.

This gives even more ammunition to the radical Muslims, proving to the world how decadent and perverted the west is.

You forgot the most repulsive, horrifying, soul-deadening Super Bowl obscenity of them all: Duran Duran music. :)

I think the best commercial was herding the cats several years ago.

Did anyone catch the pregame PETA commercial with the frolicking bimbos who are excited when the pizza delivery guy tells them about his big sausage, then disappear with him but are disappointed by his sausage.

I thought CBS said they weren't going to run that commercial. It figures.
