Who cares about a freakin' Boob! First, getting all upset about it and talking about it is exactly what they want. Second, basically all paintings from the Renaissance had naked boobs in them, often with milk spurting out at little cherubs, or with the boob's owner squeezing it. We need to just get over it - lot's of us have boobs, so it's just silly.

And anyway, Nelly was not really making obscene gestures from his crotch - he just had his hand there, as I have my hand on mine now.

Also, Kid Rock and Nelly make good music. It is certainly some of the most interesting music being put out right now, regardless of whether you actually like it that much or not. And this is coming from someone who went to conservatories for classical music for undergrad and graduate school.

Beyonce was classy and sang a beautiful rendition.

I agree totally. CBS should be concerned not because I was particularly offended, but rather because I failed to find much entertainment in their presentation.

I guess they were just pandering to a different subculture in this "glorious" multicultural world we've made for ourselves(?)

Perhaps some musical training has given you some nuances of appreciation that the general public doesn't have; I found the whole thing tailored to 17 year old hip-hop fans and little else.

The boob exposure, obviously intentional, was an anticlimactic culmination to a truly tasteless 25 minutes geared for an audience that isn't really watching this particular halftime.

The NFL, however, should have known what it would get with CBS and, its bad-boy brother, MTV in control. The NFL, furthermore, has set the general tone with allowing the commercials, which the general public does accept, to degenerate into one-upsmanship toilet humor.

A once grand sporting contest culminating game is now little more than an ear ring on the television culture of titillation.
