"Not discussing the arrogant neocons in a article titled "The Corruption of Conservatism" would be like not talking about the elephant in the living room...even as it starts passing gas and chewing on the drapes."

Sorry, but I think that Neocons are largely a straw man created by the left-leaning media to blame their hated Iraq war on. No one quite seems to be able to explain what a Neoconservative is, further resolving my belief that they don't exist.

Like I said, what if someone is for pre-emptive engagement but opposes the welfare state? You know, like me?

And me and a whole lot more who feel the same way. So are neo-conservatives and invention of the media or an invention of Libertarians?

Terrorism is unconventional warfare. Any response to such a war should first recognize its nature. The tactics used by the enemy and the lack of any identifiable enemy country suggests that the enemy is a confederation of religous zealots loosely connected all over the world. The traditional military is not equipped to fight such a war. The dirty tactics called for to win this war are the stock and trade of the CIA.

The author of this article proffered a fairly specific definition; one that I am willing to accept for the sake of expediency. Finding neoconservatives willing to admit their adherence to this definition is another matter.

FBD, thanks for the ping. Bookmarked and bumped . . .

Winner winner chicken dinner.

The entire matter of these inconsisently-defined idealogies is almost always offered by the left and libertaaaarrrriaanssss with the intent of splitting the base and discrediting the administration.

Yawn. Isn't there some football game I can watch later today?
