becoming annoyed with a Labour government decision that ruled land on their $15 million Ashcombe Estate near Salisbury in Wiltshire, south England, will be open to ramblers.Same as Babs Streisand and her Malibu liberal rat pack deny legal access to Californians who are by law entitled to walk the California beaches between the low tide and high tide lines.

She's the one who told Gwyneth Paltrow not to have a her baby in Britain because of the horror of National Health Care. She hates America, except when it's her property or her life that's at stake.

Classic liberal hypocrisy. It's all right when the masses lose their rights, but what do you mean
I have to give up my rights to the government.
Another classic case of leftest NIMB, limousine liberal syndrome. As long as it is the peons being affected they jump up and down and applaud, because it is "fair".
Cause them one drop of inconvenience and they jump up and down. And I bet you a smart girl like Madonna doesn't even see the connection. She is backing leftists here in America, right?
Vote liberal, lose your rights.

I don't see Madonna as a Conservative help in any way. I perfer her to stay on the other side of the fense. I would never invite her to any function I considered serious.

The title should read:
IN A SMEAR CAMPAIGN MADONNA TO LEND SUPPORT TO CONSERVATIVES
This looks to me like a case years ago, when the KKK offered to support or oppose George Wallace's political campaign, whichever he thought would help him more.

I guess the fun just went out of being a liberal when it comes down to what liberalism truly means.

The right to roam laws in England are great. There are paths all over the countryside. As long as people continue to use them, the legal right continues - as it has for hundreds of years. One path went thru a military base - the base was allowed to put a fence up on either side, but could not stop walkers. When I lived in England, I would go jogging on the footpaths around Upper Heyford (north of Oxford). Also used them on vacation to walk thru some beautiful countryside.
Madonna just wants rights no one else in England has. Not a surprise. But she should NOT be welcomed by the conservatives for wanting exemption from a thousand years of tradition!

Well, the way things are going Madonna may soon qualify as a Bush conservative anyway.
To: sopwith
She's a natural Conservative -- an independent, hard-working self-starter. No --- she knows there will be cameras around. Madonna is getting desperate with opportunities to jump in front of a camera and keep her celebrity status.

Liberal singer Madonna is considering lending her support to right-wing British political party the Conservatives Hmm. Seeing as how Madonna is an American citizen, does she really have ANY say in British politics? Can she offer financial support or is she donating under her husband's name? Is he contributing to any campaign against President Bush's re-election?

Why, she's a good ole Catholic gal, isn't she, virgin, mother, pilgrim - didn't she sacrifice one of her children at Lourdes or something? She's fugly as hell, that's for shore, but I'd vote for her on any party's ticket, heck, anything to stop her from going in the studio again and making any more of those godawful sounding wreckers!

It's thought the celebrity couple are keen to align themselves with the opposition party after becoming annoyed with a Labour government decision that ruled land on their $15 million Ashcombe Estate near Salisbury in Wiltshire, south England, will be open to ramblers. This sounds like another liberal who's been mugged.
