Reminds me of James Bond's archenemy Ernst Stavro Blofeld.

Sort of makes Dr. No, Goldfinger, and Blofeld look like Cub Scouts.

I sure wish these guys would stop wasting time writing a story with thousands of flowery words, (do they get paid by the word?) and JUST GET TO THE POINT!!!! I don't have hours to spend reading the literary gumbo, ok?

why, when he himself has obviously lived the American dream to its fullest, has he devoted this year to unseating the man whom many Americans still believe is the living embodiment of that dream?Since when has the American dream been that every president's son has the chance to grow up to be president?
But the hardest mud to remove has been the false claim that he called Mr Bush a Nazi. For Mr Soros, whose experience of growing up a Jew in wartime Hungary gave him first-hand experience of the Nazis, it was a galling slur.
"I've said that when Bush says those who are not with us are with the terrorists it reminds me of the Germans. This has been distorted to my calling Bush a Nazi, which I didn't and wouldn't exactly because I know that system and I know the difference.
When Soros said "Germans," he was talking about the Nazis. Had he said that Bush reminded him of the postwar Germans, it would not have been a condemnation, and no one would have known what the hell his point was. Thus, Soros was not slurred; rather, he was properly condemned, and is now talking out of both sides of his mouth.
I'm not crazy about Bush or Soros. One is aggressively anti-intellectual, while the other has delusions of intellect. I used to assume they were political antipodes (a description they would agree with), but since Bush called on the world to come to America, they seem much less antithetical than used to be the case.

Soros is the best frontman for Bush to defeat the dems. If I am a strategist for the GOP, I'll link every word, every move Soros made to the dems, to Kerry, Soros will be the ultimate devil the dems wish they have never slept with. Think about this - Soros is pro legalization of pot, he is calling for the US to play second to the UN, he is better against the US dollar hoping a crash in the US stock market to enrich himself and he is the devil who has caused the Russians plenty of pain when the oligarchs stole the fortunes of the country. He may have the money to do all sorts of things, but he does not have a message that the American people would buy into - the "burst" of the American Superamacy Bubbke - lol -
He is the best friend Bush and the GOP could ever hope for if they know how to play the cards. The dems is trying to sell the image they are for the small people, the regular joes - but wait - Kerry is the wealthiest senator and Edards is a multimillionarie as well - and worse yet, we have a billionaire financing these guys - so ARE THEY REALLY FOR YOU POOR PEOPLE?? Link Soros to the dems, he will destroy the dems just like Michael Moore destroy wes Clark.

These quotes from Soros sound like something from a paranoid psycho case.
This man seems terrified of every good thing Bush stands for, and can't seem to handle the idea that a man of faith and conviction could ever be a world leader.
How sad.

What is it with kookburger billionaires stalking the Bush family? First it was the hand grenade with a bad hair cut stalking #41, now it's Sleazy socialist Soros after #43.

There is a lot of talk that Soros made his fortune by manipulating the currency in a number of countries, wrecking the economy of those countries. I think that kind of activities are reprehensible.

If this had been Bill Clinton, Soros would be facing major audits by the IRS, and a lawsuit by the Justice Department.

"We now have a largely or partially misinformed electorate." That is the classic self important, liberal elitist mantra. It isn't possible their opponents know what is going on and take a different viewpoint. Why, that is impossible. They need to "enlighten" us. It's that condescending attitude that makes you just want to slap them up side the head and scream. What makes this election so much fun is that when it is over they are going to stand around staring at each other with glazed eyes, stupified by the realization that we just didn't give a rat's ass what they told us about the "Nazi" Bush. All his money will not buy him squat. And so much for the Democratic party screams for election reform. I guess when one man is spending billions on your party you kinda forget about how much it corrupts the process.

I wondered why Soros had become so opposed to Bush. It didn't make sense until this week.
When Saddam was distribution vouchers for illegal Iraqi oil, George must have been very involved. Now, he wants to get rid of Bush before W discovers the connection, and replace Bush with an "easy" (is there any other kind) democrat.
I'm don't know but would bet it worked like this. Saddam sent oil in an unofficial pipeline to a port in Syria. Lots went to Assad. But Saddam distributed vouchers to others. You'd take the voucher marked "deliverable on demand" to tank farm master along with your oil tanker (Greek registry?) and fill up. You then sell the crude in the open market and deliver it to the refinery of choice.
A market in voucher must have developed. Saddam got something, probably untraceable/spendable cash in accounts all over Europe. And, the voucher holders got the discounted amounts and probably paid a lot because of the risks. So, maybe, they only got 50% of the current spot crude price. They'd sell futures and guarantee delivery. Very quickly, this could add up to big money even for a billionaire. But, if he were well connected in international markets and knew how the games could be played at the margins, it would be fun and profitable.
That's my bet. George is dirty and wants to get the sheriff before the sheriff gets him.

He believes that ending this presidency's "supremacist ideology" has become a "matter of life and death" for the planet's future. It's like meeting his compatriot Michael Moore in a posh suit and tie. "This Orwellian truth machine really does remind you of the conditions that Orwell was drawing from, mainly the Nazi and Soviet truth machines, with one tremendously significant difference - that in the Soviet and Nazi case, the state party apparatus absolutely controlled the media and all the sources of information totally. Hey, but MoveOn told us that libs *never* compare Bush to Hitler!
