"WARDADDY" HOSPITALIZED, NEEDS URGENT PRAYERS
FReepmail from Wardaddy's wife. | January 29,2004 | Travis McGee

Posted on 01/29/2004 10:52:29 PM PST by Travis McGee

I just sat down at my computer and was shocked to read this freepmail.

Hey, this is Annette. Charlie is in the hospital, he went to ER at 2:00 am with pains in his arm. After lots of test we know this: his main artery is completely blocked, they are doing a bypass in the morning. He has been in alot of pain all day and loads of tests. Please pray for him. You can share this with those you think appropriate. I am not really with it right now. I wanted to let you know, he speaks very fondly of you. He is at St. Thomas Hospital, Nashville. We are all praying for him. Please keep in in mind, we are in shock. I will update you when I can.

Annette

This has come like a bolt out of the blue. Charlie has become one of my closest friends on Free Republic, and all I can do is hope for the best and send out lots of prayers. I'll try to find out more info about his scheduled bypass surgery and report back with updates. Maybe we can have some kind of a prayer vigil during that time.

I'm definitely praying for him and his beautiful family.

One of the savviest FReepers we've got, and someone who has seen enough of life to know what's what, and what's important.

Sending up prayers for a complete healing and healthy resolution to all his problems. Praying also for good hands for the doctors should he have surgery. Thank goodness this was found; these days wonderful things can be done if found in time.
