Dennis Miller On CNBC!!!

Emmy Award winner Dennis Miller brings his take-no-prisoners, suffer-no-fools style to CNBC’s prime time lineup.

Emmy-award-winning comedian Dennis Miller is the host of CNBC's "Dennis Miller" (M-F, 9-10 p.m. ET/PT), a topical interview talk show featuring reasoned discourse, opinion and humor. Miller also serves as executive producer of the program, which is produced by NBC Studios. It's been said that Miller is "one of the premiere comedy talents in America today..." While others are blunt assessing Miller's comedic stature, Dennis himself makes a virtue of understatement, but there is nothing low-key about his career.

FOX was crazy not to give Dennis a time slot

Maybe they did, but Miller wasn't willing to spend three nights out of five on celebrity trash police-blotter "news".

Guess he found the paychecks are bigger if you pretend you're a conservative.

If that's true, and it may be, then we have here an even more ominous reversal of fortune for the Left.

1. The annoying monkey has to go...

2. David Horowitz might be the most intelligent man in the world but he allows naomi wolf to walk all over him. And he doesnt represent the strong case that he has, he needs to shut down naomi the whining leftist.

3. Dennis Miller needs to clarify his own positions if he is going to express them to the politico's that he interviews. He seems to be hesitant and mealymouth with his answers and that always costs his credibility.

That said I like his show and wish him well.

Took a quick break to catch the news at noon,in my office. FOX had a "News Alert",with the red background. News from Iraq ? War on Terror news ? No... "Jackson Family Press Conference beginning soon."

Thank the Lord she isn't coming back next week, but Horowitz is!!!

Dennis must have somehow gotten the feedback on the vapid, sophomoric, bloated Naomi.

Still have lots of problems believing that D. Miller, who so viciously attacked conservatives for so many years, is anything other than an opportunist posing as a righty. Guess he found the paychecks are bigger if you pretend you're a conservative.

Dennis wouldn't be able to manufacture that zeal for Bush and against the left unless it were REAL. Believe it! You needn't worry.

Naomi looks enourmous - so much makeup to make her face look more angular and she is positively 'husky' from the neck down. Some nice trick photography but even the wizards at Lucasfilm can't do much with her.

I think you pegged it completely right about him almost trying to figure it out himself, that is where I really began to see his sincerity. -----

<<Dennis is for real. It's called growing up.

He should get Larry Miller on to talk about terrorism. He's a dynamic speaker.

Is that the same Larry Miller from "The 10 Things I Hate About You"? --- a very nice, funny little movie!

it would be my pleasure and honor to send Frederick in the Bentley (or Rolls) to Beverly Hills and pick you up for a night of boob tube watching and lobster at my estate.

Don't do it, have him drop off the lobster over at your place. ;)

Perfectly said!!! That Greta Show is pathetic. It is a waste of the talent that she has. She is a good interrogator.

Agreed. Miller is rather sharp and has a rather high-brow sense of humor. I hate to say it, but I have to switch over from Fox when Dennis is on.

I hope Naomi Wolfe is not a regular. Tonight he seemed to imply that the panel guests would be different next week.

That's what it sounded like, with the possible exception of David Horowitz. When signing off, I think Miller said he would see him next week.

I loved it when he let the monkey loose on the 'Dean Button'. :)

The last show was a bit weak. Wolfe seems immature shaking her head and asking Horowitz "do you actually believe . . ." and Short needed to at least do more impersonations. I like the theory why so many is Hollywood are liberal: because we are all inclusive. Horowitz may not be willing to raise his voice, but he is such a smart man if you listen. Miller on HBO was great and I have his 3 books, all belly laughs.

Considering it was the first week of a new show I think Dennis M. did well. Perhaps if he continues to have Horowitz on the panel he will loosen up and speak up more.
If he is going to have a panel that consists of a conservative (Horowitz) and a liberal, I hope he has Eleanor Clift as the liberal guest (I can't stand her). Maybe between Miller & Horowitz they would either drive her completely mad or get her to crack a smile. It's probably been so long since she actually had a true belly laugh about it might push her over the edge. At least have Ellie, with Dean button in hand, sit right in front of Eleanor.

Well maybe compared to the bang it started off with. All in all, it was a great debut week. And I have no problem with him showing off leftist elites as the boobs they are. ;-)
