I appreciate his pro life stance on all issues too. Including the cloning.

But I will say this.. if our country is GONE the pro-life issue is moot.

innocent human beings are not moot--no matter what... no matter what condition the country is in... i guess unless you really believe that the unborn are actually people... and that an abortion is the act of ending a human life--and that it is wrong, than other things like immigration, etc., really will matter more than the taking of innocent lives--even unborn lives...

I have been a part of the pro-life movement for many years, so you are preaching to the choir. The fact is our country is at a crossroads and soon we will have NO country left. Bush is throwing you a bone..

"Three abortions were completed as I typed this."

Perhaps you should type faster?

Check it out for yourself.

Granted the first time I looked at it -- copied the url -- went back to this thread -- typed -- and finally rechecked the link -----three more abortions.

Like I said above it is heart-breaking!

I often wonder why he appointed 7 pro-aborts (2 democrats) to the federal judiciary in NJ. There are many lawyers who are pro life in NJ and who volunteer defending pro life activists.

I often wonder why his people tried to shove Richard Riordan down our throats in California in 2002, succeeded with Arnold Schwarzenegger in 2003, then put up Rosario Marin to run for the nomination against Boxer this year (all pro-aborts, Riordan being the worst).

i wasn't preaching to anybody... i was sharing what my priority is... i guess i don't understand the thought that the prolife movement is moot--even if i were living in China... heck, with their population controls, even all those the aborted Chinese babies are not moot... we see differently... w/o the sanctity of life, everything falls from their--in my opinion... i understand you see differently... p.s.--i am for secure borders... i don't like CFR...

BUSH/CHENEY 2004!!!!!!!!!

And they will have to answer in heaven for their beliefs and deeds also.

What made us ready for Roe v. Wade?

BTW, are you aware that Norma McCorvey (Roe) operates a pro-life ministry now?

Roe No More

Republicans always appoint lots of pro-aborts to the cabinet, and to the judiciary, to prove that they don't have a "litmus test." Translation: to prove that abortion is not TOO important to them.

Which is very sad.

good post. Bush will ultimately by judged by this pro-lifer by who he puts on the Supreme Court. All of the things in this article are great, and they suggest he'll do the right thing on the court, which is why I'll vote for him (that and out of respect to our country/military/Sept.11).

". .. if our country is GONE the pro-life issue is moot."

. . . afraid your reasoning is 'abit backward; after all, without LIFE, there can be no country, which is precisely why the War on Terrorism and the War against Anti-Life zealots remain THE most important challenges facing our country today!!!
