Nothing like broadcasting our intentions to the enemy...doubtful that bin Laden will hang around to see exactly what this offensive will entail...chances are he's already split upon getting this information. Maybe that's the whole point. If we know where he is, or are pretty sure we know where he is, and we announce that we're going on an offensive, it could cause him to hit the road. We're watching and we take him. Plus, Pakistan says they won't let our guys operate in their territory, so not only would we know where he's starting from, we'll know which direction he'll go (toward or further into Pakistan). We take him out. Pakistan publicly goes berserk, screaming about our invasion of their sovereign territory, etc. but privately winks and nods.

I personally don't think we have him yet (but I wish we do). Yet I can see how both the US military and Musharraf can both be exuding considerable confidence about the situation. Perhaps "we" got him, but it was in Pakistan, and too many people know that inconvenient "fact." The song and dance going on now might be trying to negotiate an acceptable "capture" scenario that meets both parties' needs. Tin foil hat off . . . .

Hopefully, they will not "WAIT" if they know where he is they will bag him, this is not the Clinton Administration.

Maybe Albright knows for sure where he is? Maybe he's hiding in her spider hole?

We have just recieved two unconfirmed reports from US Government sources in Virginia that US SOF captured Osama bin Laden in Iran today. The offical stance will be to deny these reports until Osama bin Laden is secreted to a secure location under US control. We are awaiting a third source on this breaking news and will update the NEIN site with that third source corroborating the information we currently have. Doing it as an October surprise would just make the Dem conspiracy theorists more unhinged. Ha!

OBL was destroyed in 1998-99 based on post-war intelligence.

psyops... otherwise, it is tantamount to loose lips... I agree that this kind of operation is "underway", has been "underway", and continues "underway"... I believe bin laden will either be captured or killed within the next 12 months...

Most Dims think that. It is hard to explain that the US isn't going to stop looking just because it's an election year, so I don't bother.

The optimum time would have been after Dean had won iowa and NH. Bagging Saddam hurt his chances of that and he lost.

That lower picture reminds me of that commercial for hi-lighters where the guys cover thier faces with the hi-lighters then go into the bosses office and tell him they don't feel so good. LOL!!

OBL will be captured or killed around the third week of February. Remember this post!
To: Dog
I agree,.......Now TINFOIL HAT ON!
Mr. Ijaz said that Musshariff wants to eradicate the Terrorists in his Homeland with our help, This would be to secure his Presidency. So his countrymen think we are looking for Osama right? Thats the Excuse. In reality we are going after his opposition, the guys who threaten his presidency, so the region will be more stabilized for him and us. So in closing if we announce we have Osama the Pakies will want us outa there faster then Sheite through a Goose.....
