Hillary wants to be President, not Vice President

If she gts to be VP she will be POTUS within 30 days of inauguration.

"You'd think they would pick someone with real substance and integrity."

They wouldn't recognize substance and integrity if it jumped up and bit them.

Running for VP in a losing campaign didn't do much to advance Geraldine Ferraro's political fortunes. I can't recall a VP nomination in a losing ticket that went on to higher office later. Most of them slip into political obscurity or become "expert political analysts". Lieberman was wise enough to keep his Senate seat or he would have become just an asterisk and he's going nowhere in his bid this year. The odds are against Hillary defying the trend.

I'm wracking my brain and I can't recall Dukakis' VP candidate.

So, no sooner does Sen. John Kerry emerge from the New Hampshire primary as the Democrats' fragile frontrunner than word gets out that ex-President Bill Clinton is flying down to Washington to plan the Democrats' return to the White House, and at this "high-level" meeting Sen. Hillary Clinton will join him. What is this all about? Are the Democratic presidential contenders not capable of sorting things out on their own? Two, after all, were coaxed into the race by the Clintons, Sen. John Edwards and Gen. Wesley Clark....Looking back on the assault on Mr. Dean before the Iowa caucuses, one is reminded of the old joke that politics really is a blood sport, and by caucus day the blood was everywhere and so were the Clintons' fingerprints. I cannot recall such a concerted assault on a frontrunner in any other primary season. Dick Morris was, perhaps, the first to claim that Mr. McAuliffe's agents spread negative research against Mr. Dean. Now we have more evidence.

One doesn't have to be a conspiracist to discern a pattern in the Clintons' behavior. Rather, one would have to be an uninformed idiot not to see it.

This appears to be right on target!

Now having the convention to be held in of all places old historic Boston instead of New York was curious. Hillary going to throw a "TEA Party".

Looks like one of the requirements the clintons had to allow this to be the site was "OLD" Teddy giving Hillary's hate speeches.

Now the wicked witch of the North East tried to give these kinds of speeches, like the one about "Bush knew" and her shrill on the Hoover economy. These did not play well except to the base. So Old Teddy took on reading her work.

Recently Chrissy Matthews said there was no way that Hillary would be elected so long as voting was in private. Hillary knows how high her negatives are and she knows that there is no way that she can be elected President.

Hillary is a control freak, just ask old Bill. She was co-leader of the world for 8 years and she wants that power back.

I believe that if it takes being VP as the ticket to that power she will demand it.

Waiting until the convention to be named the VP shortens the time of exposure for herself. All the more reason to seek and independent counsel investigation of President Bush and/or VP Cheney to be running hot and heavy in the summer.

Hillary did not travel to Afghanistan and Iraq for a vacation. Yesterday in the grilling of Dr. Kay, was very telling. She knew darn well that she and her hubby sold a war in 1998 with Bill Cohen running around on the tv circuit carrying a 5lb. sack of sugar comparing it to the known amount of anthrax that old Saddam had.

Hillary's focus was about Kay resigning, not about poor intelligence, lack of intelligence, gutting of intelligence by the lying liberals.

Hillary plays politics like Saddam did, take no prisoners, problem is she like Saddam will end up in a pit. JFKerry would be the perfect President for Hillary, he has always relied upon "woman" and that would suit her just fine.

This woman is getting long in the tooth, politically speaking and running the senate is no big deal. She is use to a world stage and that is what she believes she is owed. The world stage is changing ever so quickly and waiting four years to run is a bigger risk than to go for that prized power, this year.

Hillary will play publicly whatever role necessary to regain that power, and this time it will be hers all by herself.

I am not saying she will succeed, but that is a possibility, considering that enough of this nation was seduced by her and her hubby in two elections. She has already stomped through the frozen fields of Iowa and New Hampshire during two elections and having to do that again would be her worst nightmare. Remember the "baking cookies" response, she is like Dean in controlling her arrogrance.

If she thinks that the lying liberals have a chance of winning she will be on the ticket and there won't be any mistakes of previous run by a woman VP. Right now she is busy doing whatever she can to destroy President Bush and VP Cheney, I compare it to the kind of fighting going on in Iraq right now.

Things I look for this coming year, Greenspam to raise interest rates, lots of UNION strikes, continued attacks on President Bush and a Hoover economy, loss of jobs. There is one on the scene who has the ability to cause a Hoover economy replay, and he seems to be advertising that he would do just that if it would remove President Bush. Claims that President Bush has not "FUNDED" homeland security, while praying that we get attacked. Continuous DRUMBEAT for an independent investigation about President Bush/VP Cheney "misleading" America so they could go to war.

This woman will seek to leave little to chance in the possiblity of putting her face in the election of 2004.

The 'Toons just love all this cloak and dagger stuff, plotting behind the scenes in secret cabals, don't they? They'll be doing more of the same - perhaps a little more openly - in New York on Feb. 4 with the moveon.org crowd, story here. Bill just can't stand the thought of being perceived as yesterday's news.

Hillary and her husband will remain the Democratic powerbrokers for 2008. Or possibly just the powers.

The GOP and those who love this country had best be girding their loins for the ultimate battle against these two criminals. This is not just a political skirmish, with more to come next election. Their successsful ascendency again will mean the death of our republic as we know it.

"Hillary wants to be President, not Vice President."

Well, no question; more to the point, she plans to be President.

Bit going in as a VP has some real advantages; she can just 'step up' to the power podium when a 'fate' takes over the President.

I cannot imagine any Dem candidate seriously wanting her as a VP, hovering just a step away from the Oval Office. And she will rule with or without that acting president.

But probably there will be little 'choice' in the matter.

"Eye scratching behind the scenes is surely to ensue."

Good point; probably has already been some. But of course, Teresa will have to be very careful about he Botox injections; lest she get a bad batch accidentally.

To used an oft used metaphor; the Clintons themselves are a cancer of the Democrat party. . .as well as on the rest of America.

Are there no honest/good Americans left in the Demrat party to deliver all of us from their evil?

Even one?

The Clintons will not tolerate a candidate who doesn't need their largesse, who they cannot control.

Well, it's not as if Kerry had a backbone, or anything . . .

The Secret Service would be criminally irresponsible to allow Hillary as VP.

Agreed. Equally important, the ticket will clearly be a Marxist ticket with both Hillary and Kerry, and have no chance of winning. Kerry will have to get a more moderate appearing running mate.

One thing, I have noticed lately is that people that didn't like Pubbies attacking Clinton on sex, now tell Clinton sex jokes.

Now that Clinton isn't president, it is okay to talk about all the sleazy baggage of his. People on the street are telling me all about his dirty dealing and I act like it is the first time, I have ever heard about them.

There has been a sea change of opinion about the Clintons since leaving office.

Your post 45 is all too true. Mrs.BJ will use everything in her considerable power to weaken President Bush enough so that the rats have a shot. Then she will jump in. 2004 is her first, not second choice, IMHO.

The anti-Bush zealots here on FR who intend to cast "protest votes" or stay home in November should consider the consequences of their actions. By electing a Democrat as president we are not only hurting our country but allowing the Clintons back onto center stage.

If having Bush in the White House, with all his flaws, will keep the Clintons out of power and influence then it's a no-brainer.

Time to insert my one, constant prayer for the Clintons:

That the Lord would render the Clintons, and all their minions, totally powerless and useless and nameless and faceless and voiceless and homeless and penniless ... such is their evil ... and that he would strip them before the world, leaving only their immortal souls, and it is for these souls that I pray would come under the Lordship of Christ.
