In the year 2000 I posted the premise that the election of George Bush would essentially be the death knell of conservatism in this nation. I said at that time that it would be at least 2008 before we could hope to place a true conservative back in the White House. I don't think I was far off at all.
My choices this fall will be voting for Bush and getting some of what I want, or voting for a democrat and getting about zip of what I want.

That is a principled stand. My principled stand will be to refuse to vote for a liberal, whatever the party label.
