I don't know about political office. But thanks for the compliment.
By the way. Big fan of the Andy Griffith Show.

AuntB,
If you want to read one of my first posts. Do a search, titled Rush Limbaugh. That was the experience of the first time I ever saw Rush Limbaugh on television. It is my thoughts on what makes me conservative.

Aunt B,
Coincidentally, the number 33 represents my actual age. The first time I ever saw Rush on television I was 21 years old. By the time I was 23, I had been fully converted to the conservative ideology. That's why I wanted to stress the importance of Rush.

Now, I would just love to shake his hand.Been there, done that, got the autograph to prove it! :) I flew up to New York to see him on his TV show.
He was kind enough to sign our (first edition)"See I Told You So." It was after the show was over that I met him and shook his hand as he was walking out the door. I've got a picture of myself on (ok, near the front of) his set, and I bring it out from time to time just to get the goat of some lib that I'm educating.

I used to go to the TV show once a month and he called me his "Mrs. Miller," Do you know who Mrs. Miller was??? I treasure the photo I have with Rush--but then he was heavier, and I was thinner, and younger!!

You did a great job on Rush's show today. It's always a thrill to hear him mention FR, but when he said that the person who wrote that excellent essay was on the line, it was a delight! It was obvious that Rush really appreciated what you wrote. After all the tough times lately, it must have been a pleasure for him to read something so positive. Rush means a lot to me, but never would I be able to put it into words as well as you did!
To: writer33
Just an observation here, Chris ...
Seems those of us on Free Republic have been privileged to be a part of one of those unique "moments in time" ... at the very moment Rush is able to reveal to his listeners the extent to which he is being pursued, he is met with your impassioned revelation of a most honorable man. The depth of his personal agony is revealed in the depth of his genuine honor at your love and respect. You met the need of this great man's heart ... we heard it as you two shared it, and we feel it, too.
Thanks, Chris ...

Thank you, Pegita. I wanted him to know that there were so many many others out there sick and tired of the drivel that the Florida prosecutors continue to spill out. I appreciate the comments.
