And to make it tougher .. the attorney for the Clines (the maid and her husband - a convicted felon) is the son of a CLINTON APPOINTEE .. good grief!

A respected polling firm was hired by Clear Channel back in December to determine if Rush's admission of drug addiction and admission in a drug recovery program would cost Rush audience.

The conclusion was no.

There was no significant erosion in Rush's support or audience from the situation at that time.

Many believed that he was buying drugs from a pusher and had done something at least borderline illegal.

There is one thing for certain. If this had cost Rush Audience and followers, it would be on CNN every hour on the hour for months at a time.

Since none of the leftist media ever mentions what this story has done to Rush's audience one can safely assume it has only gone up.

I've never seen or heard any conservative say or suggest anything remotely close to what you are alleging.

Your statements implies that lots of FReepers -- some going back to 1997 -- are not conservateves.

There have been posts in the last 24 hours accusing Rush of lying about having surgery and implying his addiction is not the result of a medical condition.

You should be .. and since you're making the charge .. how about a little PROOF of your charge. Please name the conservatives who have made such statements about Rush.

Thanks for the info. I'm glad to know that Rush's audience (predictably) would not erode.

He mentioned FR today and linked to a thread here, and it bogged the forum down entirely for several minutes. Obviously he's got an audience who is still tuning in, and are potential FReeps. Win-win.

You think that people pretending to be conservatives just started posting when Rush got into trouble? Think again.

If the system of justice that enforces the law in Florida has broken down to this level how long before someone decides to make the decision of enforcement of justice a personal matter? Anyone remember the Rubicon?

who said it was leaked?

It was probably released intentionally, like Paul Harvy's "rest of the story".

Well .. if you won't "fetch" your data to prove your statement then I'd say you're making up the statement just to get a rise out of people .. Hmmmm??

"who said it was leaked?

Hmm... I wonder who decides to release internal correspondance regarding the actions of prosecuters ?

... and since Black has been accusing the SAO of "leaking" FALSE information ( which none of the hotshot lawyers here has been able to explain just how this is possible )
I'm guessing that without any information to the contrary that this would be considered a leak also.

Oh, the AG's office released it to the entire world apparently to counter the lies released by the SAO -- your friends. Does that change your mind, what's left of it?

Something tells me that because this is Rush Limbaugh vs. a Democrat AG, the result will be that no charges will be filed against Limbaugh and case closed, with no ethics action against the AG either, because he's a Democrat and the negative press would hurt them (and the fact that there are no ethics when you're a Democrat). Limbaugh's power and influence will save him, but the AG will be free to terrorize the less-connected in the future.

The letter is obvious--The AG told him repeatedly the things he omitted and that her belief is that he did so purposely.

Your idea that that is not lying is Clintonian. Next you'll have us all debate the meaning of is

Anything to get Rush, huh RS? Your hatred of him must run amazingly deep, that you'll excuse any means used to get him.
